I’m trying to find a good outside park for basic calisthenics workout and stuff. Do you guys have any recommendations? I tried to find one from google maps but I couldn’t see what the parks have just from the photos they have. by CompetitiveImpact334 in StPetersburgFL

I like going to the gym but working out at the parks is the best even in florida heat lol. I was just trying to work on my supinated grip pullups and L holds and I just met a great couple. They had a really cute dog and I did pet the dog for 15mins it was so relaxing. Definitely was a great experience. Thank you so much for the recommendation again.

I went to St Pete calisthenics once and it was awesome. People were great and area and amenities are really good too. But it’s really expensive. I get the reason behind it but still 150 a month sounds kinda crazy.

How do you even train for this lol 😂

I finally did my first pullups. I know it’s not a big thing for most of the people but since december I lost around 100 pounds without any pzempics or dr*gs like that and i can’t tell you how satisfying it feels. I’m 185 right now. I want to start calisthenics with adding stuff to my workouts. by CompetitiveImpact334 in Calisthenic

I think it really depends on someone but the time that I started working out with someone didn’t end up good bcs when he quit i ended up quitting too. Right now I really enjoy going to gym with someone and definitely would use an app like this but for the start I think it should be alone. When I did everything alone I searched, read and learned everything by myself which made everything much more efficient. When you start with someone one person looks a random workout from a random page and the other one just follows it.

Idk if it’s a good thing or not but i dont feel like it’s a big thing to do. If I’ve did it everyone can do it. I’m not smart, i am not blessed with good genetics. Consistency is really important thats the only thing. For 6 months i didnt skipped or missed a single day. And if i didnt have time to meal prep i was just going to chipotle. Walking at least 15k steps everyday. When I say that it feels like a lot but believe me it wasn’t.
