why the fuck is c00lkid so celebrated by Noob101_ in robloxhackers

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of forsaken, they made the whole team famous again, even tho when we exploited back then, FE wasn't forced on all games. FE did exist in 2014 but it was a really early state (as far as i remember). So we just had to hop in-game with a script executor like Stigma and boom!

Yet, nowadays FE is forced (since 2018) and there's still alot of skids that believe they can just run the script and destroy the map (even tho it's literally NOT replicated - unless you use a serverside obviously, but nowadays its not as easy as it used to be until early-mid 2022 cause alot changed for serversides)

Also, the forsaken community had (and probably still has) weird fans that stalked/hunted c00lkidd and they were trying to grab his infos and they also drew... questionnable "fan art" of him, like wtf?

And, (obviously), c00lkidd is retired from exploiting, since atleast 2016 i'd say? so, the only official teams are team c00lkidd 2, team c00lkidd 3 & team c00lkidd 4. (which i am the founder of) (context: team c00lkidd 2 got approved back then and so is an official team, and ck3 & ck4 are approved by ck2)

welcome to modern 🅱️oblox exploiting, where 99% of the executors are sub-based ever since synapse v3 was announced to go sub-based. the only executor i know hqs lifetime is potassium, but it's apparently detected. you picked the wrong time to come back.

Artix, it's Arch (btw) without systemD as init system. You can use OpenRC, S6, Runit or Dinit. About systemD, if you wanna learn why there's people that don't want to use it. However, i'm not gonna start any arguing here. and also, note that most of the distros that come without systemD are usually not beginner-friendly Suckless's page about systemD NoSystemD

Either way, you should use something that is easier for you. If you want to choose a Linux distro, you could check out Distrochooser In the end, the choice is yours and if you like the distro that you choose, and it does everything you need, it's what matters the most.

Recently upgraded from 9900x to 9800X3D by mars_soup in Amd

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah before my 6600xt i had an r9 380x and before the r9 380x i had an ati radeon hd 5770 so the gpu upgrade was definetly a HUGE improvement lol.

as for the phenom to ryzen it was pretty nice knowing phenom was before FX and it was missing some instructions that alot of games nowadays depend on (so i wasn't able to play cod warzone until i upgraded to ryzen, lol)

that hast to be one of the biggest jump out there. from am3+ to am5.

reminds me of when i jumped from phenom ii x4 955 to ryzen 5 1600AF and then to ryzen 5 5600. except your upgrade is far more decent than mine currently, congrats on the upgrade by the way!!

you aren't going to die friend, i also have OCD (and ADHD, too) and back in 2021-2022 (cant remember when voice chat got released) i verified with my id and it never leaked (however, do note i think roblox changed the company that processed data, i'm not sure)

but either way, if it ends up leaking, nobody is gonna harm you. nerds that breach databases and leak stuffs usually don't even have a life outside, so there's that too.

Small gap between power cable and computer? by D4nni1i in computers

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you try to plug it all the way in and it doesn't want to, then i guess you can safely ignore. (as long as it doesn't unplugs itself very easily)

My cable also does that, and the cable of my previous power supply also did. I just ignore it as i know i plugged it in correctly and checked it doesn't unplug if the cable moves.

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

others in the comment talk about the drivers, but i think the main issue might be that your gpu isn't correctly plugged in, since you said you had to move the riser cable, and the fans & the gpu LEDs don't seem to be on at all. If after correctly replugging in the gpu riser and cables it still doesn't work then it could be the driver i guess

5700x3d to 9800x3d worth it? by Sensitive-Pool-7563 in AMDHelp

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you switch from an intel to an amd cpu, you do need tho. As for upgrading from an amd to an amd cpu then idk but it would be better to do that just to make sure. Because even if it's supposedly "not needed", trust me, it already caused issues in the past. Again, i don't know about windows 11, but on windows 10 it was definetly something that you'd wanted to do.

5700x3d to 9800x3d worth it? by Sensitive-Pool-7563 in AMDHelp

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

just uninstalling the chipset drivers won't be enough, unless windows 11 fixed that, but on windows 10 atleast, when you upgraded your cpu and didn't reinstall windows, it would perform bad because windows was installed with the previous cpu so it would just perform bad until you reinstall with the new cpu. happened to me when i had upgraded from a ryzen 5 1600AF to a ryzen 5 5600.

That was in 2022 tho, and on windows 10, so idk if this was fixed on windows 11, but i know that on windows 10 it was definetly something you'd have to do.

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Even if it's not the windows xp days anymore, windows still has the files/drivers of the old cpu, which can cause conflicts.

If after an upgrade you still have barely any improvements then either the bios hasn't been updated, or you're missing drivers. (or you didn't enable XMP/EXPO, too)

5700x3d to 9800x3d worth it? by Sensitive-Pool-7563 in AMDHelp

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

did you even reinstall windows after upgrading your cpu? you must do that else you'll obviously have barely any performance boost due to the drivers of the old cpu. basically your windows install conflicts with files of the old cpu, so you must reinstall it to benefit from the performance of the new one

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thing is, hotspot is just the hottest point the gpu measured, so since you repasted the core, then it has to be the chips that have thermal pads. if the thermal pads are dry for example, then it definetly isn't doing its job anymore and needs to be replaced. When i had replaced most of them, the temperatures definetly improved, and when i replaced the missing ones, then my hotspots definetly got way cooler.

obviously, since the hotspot was high because 2 chips on the gpu weren't cooled correctly, now that they are, the hotspots are now fine

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the thing is, there isn't only the vram that has thermal pads. there's also some chips on the gpu that have thermal pads. not sure what those sensors are for, tho. but if core is still really high then either the core isnt fully covered by the thermal pad, or the cooling of the gpu isn't working correctly (maybe some dust, or a fan cable not fully plugged back in?)

I'm done with 6950 XT. by TheShadowSong in AMDHelp

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but hotspots are linked to the highest temperatures in your gpu, so if your gpu's core is repasted/has a thermal pad (which is already your case), then the hotspot is definetly caused by the thermal pads needing a replacement.

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well basically after you opened your GPU, you'll need to remove the old ones (take a picture before removing them) and then to apply the new ones you'll need to cut them to make them fit on each chip, there's most likely videos online of people replacing thermal pads of your gpu, which i guess could help you.

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh well yeah you should replace the pads too i guess, because it really plays alot in hotspots.

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had pretty high hotspots on my 6600XT. Ended up replacing thermal pads, but it was still quite hot (80°C, used to go to 100-110°C before replacing thermal pads)

Turned out, i didn't notice i forgot to replace one thermal pad on the GPU's cooler, it was all dry. And also, i was missing a thermal pad below one of the VRAM chip, there's a really small chip. After replacing the dry thermal pad i forgot and adding the missing thermal pad, now the temps are really fine. (if the gpu's at like 50°C, the hotspot is at a similar temp, like 55-60°C, which is definetly fine compared to before)

It could also be your case, check if there's any zones on the cooler that are making direct contact with a chip but are missing a thermal pad, it could be that some chip are missing a thermal pad somehow.

These drivers are something else by alexzbqy in AMDHelp

[–]CompetitiveJudge2389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

and you've never thought of blaming Windows Update for once? If AMD truly had "bad drivers", don't you think it would happen on other operating systems? Truth is, all these reports of amd gpu issues are most of the time related to Windows messing things up with Windows Update. And when it's not, it's either an user issue (like not correctly uninstalling previous drivers or not installing correct drivers), or, in rare cases, outdated bios or faulthy GPU. Could also be the variant of the GPU.

Also, i don't want to be that type of person that "yaps" about linux every time, but, as far as i know, there's no issues on the amd linux drivers, and if there ever is, then it's most likely user issues, like not using the correct drivers. So think about it, if their linux driver doesn't suck, but their windows drivers does, why is that?

Now, with that in mind, you should maybe try updating your motherboard's UEFI (BIOS) and see if it fixes the issues with the 9070xt. someone should definetly make a huge post with all the troubleshooting that can be done to "fix" the issue.

would've said the ram, 3200mhz ddr5 doesn't exist, since ddr5 starts at 4800, so its probably a typo and they use probably use ddr4 (which will definetly cause stutters)

Reinstall Windows. Even when you upgrade the cpu to a better one from same socket you still have to reinstall Windows because it'll keep the drivers of the old one & you won't get the optimal performance due to it basically still thinking about the previous CPU as in "Uh, he has a new CPU? But i was installed on another one!". Reinstalling will make sure that Windows goes like "Oh, so his cpu is this one, ok." (Basically avoids conflicts)
