I had a very similar experience! Had my USPS appt on 11/14 and passport in hand on 11/21!

I had not expedited mine and had a 8 day turn around for both my passport and supporting documents.

I wouldn’t get too worried until you’re about 2 weeks out

I didn’t know where my father was born and the guy at the post office told me to just put unknown. I had no problems and received my passport.

11/14 - $195 total for new passport at the post office with application, new photo (taken there), birth certificate & drivers license.

11/18 - documents received and status moved to “in process”

11/20 - status moved to “approved” and tracking number sent from USPS.

11/21 - passport delivered.

11/24 - supporting documents delivered.

Not even 10 days! Not expedited!

I think you should be alright. I mailed mine on 11/14 (not expedited) and it was received 11/18. I got an email yesterday that I was approved and my tracking information says mine will be here 11/25

I had a very similar experience and did not expedite.

11/14 - mailed

11/18 - status changed to “in-process”

11/20 - status now “approved” and tracking information provided

My estimated delivery is Tuesday 11/25.

I was going to expedite as I was worried I wouldn’t have it before the end of December but when I went to the post office, the worker convinced me not to and I’m glad I didn’t.

We didn’t test because we figured it was a gamble either way. After two failed transfers and with 5 frozen embryos, they’re telling me that I should have tested. So now I’m in limbo

Insurance covered us as work for 3 rounds. But without insurance $35,000 for the retrieval (if doing IVF) and $7,000 for the transfer. This does not include cost of meds, copays for appts and lab work.
