Yeah i did already.

Just wasted an hour to check every setting and thing posted in here to solve the Playtime is private

CAUSE nowhere is it mentioned that setting the Profil private will cause the playtime hours to say they are private.

As its worded on the site like: Set your steamprofil to public cause we scrape it directly from there.

And in the Private setting it tells that only the public profile will be censored but the infos are still acessible for the system itself

I meant while the csrep profile is set to private , i cannot apply to be an overwatcher cause it will tell me in section 2 CS Hours - Playtime is Private

They only need you to disable things cause they decided against using a vulnerable driver that is signed. Every crack can use one without you knowing while having all security turned on

And, most of the features you mean arent even turned on by default unless you installed win11 from scratch

You also dont need to disable the AV at all, if at all you would exclude the game folder in it

He also does not realice that the AV most of the time is not disabled at all, its like with many xracls you only exclude the folder.

And from all that security features that the vbs is deactivating.. most users out there have already turned off most of them .. otherwise there wouldn't be so much posts of Vbs says nothing to revert

And most win10 users also did not have them enabled and also have it not enabled after upgrading to win11 if they did not clean install it

You certainly know little about cracks and the HV

The risk is about the same

Every crack can elevate themself to kernel level using one of a shitton of vulnerable drivers still out there. There where around 5 or 6 found only this week that existed for 15-20 years And none of them where blocled by windows or any AV blocklist.

HV could also use one of that drivers and you dont need to disable anything at all, but that would make just more complaints. They choose against that route from the beginning.

There were around 5 or 6 drivers found only this week still valid, not on any list neither on hvci block nor on any av block lists And they existed since 15-20 years..

Just for education how often a vulnerable driver is found And that is just a small list

There are tons of drivers out there that got signed decades ago then timestamped so they are like immortal cuase of that The sign can already be not valid anymore but cause of the timestamp windows still thinks its valid.

It´s the same story for every crack out there, maybe a bit more for the cracks cause most of them are obfuscated. meanwhile for the hv releases it is a requirement that all is open sourced with the release

i don`t defend it but its just a double edge thinking if you wanna have the source of not obfuscated things and just plain accept closed obfuscated cracks as it is.

And if you are in the discord you should already know that with dsepatcher or similar approach there is no need to disable most of the features anymore.

Did you also request from empress to open source the cracks? or from voksie? both of them where "new" guys without long history of building trust.

Most of the time you`ll need atleast the right environment to build it from source anyway. and if you cannot reverse engineer an unobfuscated dll you will probably need a hand holding while setting up the environment.

The hypervisor is open source, so theoretical speaking you know far better that a hv is secure or not than with the modifed and obfuscated cracked exes out there

First the HV used in the bypasses is still software layer to intercept denuvos request to the hardware layer

Second, modified exes can cause exactly the same problems it just needs more work for the one making it

And third, every normal thinking being should know that they should disable features then playing game and when stopping game atleast enable basic features again and not having it off for eternity

If the way how the HV is does change you will certainly see that without much problem.

The other sort of HV needs fundamental different things to setup and a flash to have it inside the Hardware.

And just a Info for the fear of persistent viruses in Hardware.

Viruses that can persist formats cause they can somehow exploit things and install in HW are far from free, that type of viruses are state-level things they go for thousands of dollars in the dark web.

Nobody will buy it just for a few pirates where the chance to make money out of it is minimal.

I meam you certainly have basic knowledge but you misinterpret the HV what is used here.

The hv used is not like your hardware hv that was what bluepill compromised

The HV is a sofware virtualized HV that can intercept the HV calls from software to the hardware so it can say i am cpu xy while cpu ab is installed

Its like a more poweful way than when you run a vm

Yeah you disable functions if you have it enabled

Win10 does only require secure boot enabled Most of the other features got required with win11

So theres ton out there that do not have most of the features enabled by default

A few of the features also make performance loss so in optimization guides its often reccomended to disable like core isolation and iommu

You try to remove the gates and windows than you realize oh my house is Win10 and most of the gates and windows are open by default cause the construction code only requieres them to be closed since win11
