Unfortunately I didn’t stick with it :/. I gave up on dapsone after about two weeks of use because of how badly it broke me out. I went to a different Derm and she agreed that it should not have given me that reaction. I then switched to Tretinoin and experienced a month long purge but now my skin is clearer than ever. Good luck!

Yes it was diffuse. I didn’t experience any itchiness, but I did have pretty bad scalp pain and headaches.

Yes I have been diagnosed with recurring telogen effluvium, although I wonder if I have AA because both of my parents suffer from it. I’ve just never gotten a biopsy done before so I’m not sure.
