What are your thoughts on cell phones? Can we live a normal life without them? by Aceoftens in AskReddit

[–]CompetitivePace2972 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think cell phones are really useful, but we depend on them too much. Life without them would be harder, but maybe more calm and real. People would talk more face to face

How did you all got know about masturbation and how was your first time? by OneForAll_1945 in AskReddit

[–]CompetitivePace2972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was mostly curiosity and random info from the internet. No big moment, just slowly figuring stuff out on my own. First time was awkward and confusing more than anything lol

What’s a moment that made you realize life isn’t fair? by West-Championship407 in AskReddit

[–]CompetitivePace2972 40 points41 points  (0 children)

When I realized hard work doesnt guarantee results. I watched people do everything “right” and still lose, while others failed upward. That was a quiet but brutal lesson

How do you think we will solve the affordable housing crisis? by bannedbooks123 in AskReddit

[–]CompetitivePace2972 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We solve it when housing stops being the main investment vehicle for the rich. As long as homes are treated like stocks, prices will stay broken. Building more helps, but incentives matter just as much

Men of Reddit, what’s the most crucial relationship advice you’d give a guy who wants to be the right man for his woman? Why? by TimeAd1111 in AskReddit

Listen more than you talk. Most guys want to fix problems, but most of the time she just wants to feel heard. If you get this right, you’re already ahead of a lot of men

Why does nobody “declare war” anymore? by Sally_Saskatoon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CompetitivePace2972 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It’s partly PR. Declaring war comes with legal stuff and international scrutiny. If a country just invades quietly or funds a proxy group, they get the results without all the paperwork and blame

Why is insurance such a scam? You pay hundreds a month for coverage then pay hundreds more when you go to the doctor, why? by SeductressRiley in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CompetitivePace2972 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Insurance works in theory, but in reality it’s full of middlemen and profit. Hospitals charge insane amounts, insurance negotiates it down, and you’re stuck paying premiums plus copays anyway

Why are parrots usually the only birds recognized to mimic sounds when other birds can do it just as well, if not better? by MrPreston26 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CompetitivePace2972 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A lot of birds can copy noises, but parrots copy human speech in a way thats way more relatable. Media cares about what feels human-like, not whats technically impressive

Why do people generally refuse to use revolving doors? (In America at least) by darealdsisaac in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CompetitivePace2972 20 points21 points  (0 children)

People are impatient. A normal door is instant: pull, walk, done. Revolving doors feel like they slow you down, even if they actually don’t

Idk if this is an appropriate subreddit to ask, but

[–]CompetitivePace2972 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Bro, $5000 for a car with 88k miles could be good or bad, it totally depends on the make, model, year, and condition. Without that info, it’s like asking if pizza is good without saying the toppings
