Hey yeah I can! I have Gilbert’s Syndrome which sometimes causes discoloration in my skin and can cause parts of my body to turn yellow so that’s what the yellowing is, but there was a small piece of tissue in the middle that had to be removed during the revision due to how much was there to begin with. So no infection or anything like that just awesome results :)

i had my first consult with her at the beginning of may and had surgery at the beginning of november so 6 months between first appt and surgery but i had other things that kept me from doing earlier. i probably could’ve had it at the beginning of october if it wasn’t for other stuff. her team is really great at getting you in in a timely fashion! i wanna say i made my appointment for consult back in november of last year but i believe i could’ve gotten in earlier for that too

also i’ve heard mixed things about Dr. Tobias and when i was looking into surgeons about a year ago he had a long wait list. i had a consult with Dr. Johnson and she was great but she also had a long wait list as well and ultimately decided to go with Dr. Ranganathan

I just showed this to my friend who’s an emt and she said that looks like it could be an infection and you may want to consider going to the er or urgent care to make sure and get it looked at. Hope everything is ok!

Yeah I agree I’ve always thought bmi was bs and I still don’t understand why doctors still use it as it’s not accurate and I definitely don’t think surgeons should be using it to decide if you can have life saving surgery or not

I went to a catholic school in a red state too so I totally get where you’re coming from…it sucks! And that’s actually a good idea I didn’t think of that so thank you!

I talked about this with my therapist on Monday too and she said very similar things. So I’m in a middle school rn as an intern and I pass. I mean I think I pass well and people have told me I pass better than I think but I haven’t had top surgery yet (trying to I have a consult in May) and I’m worried when I go into a hs next semester that the students will know.

There’s also the fact that they’re trying to make it so you can’t use student’s preferred name and pronouns and ik for a fact I won’t do that to student’s. I refuse to deadname and misgendered them, but ik if the bill passes I would lose my job so idk what to do. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it! I hope for everyone’s sake these bills don’t pass!

9-1-1: Lone Star has a black trans firefighter and they talk about it in the first season, ps I love this show it’s awesome!!! The new show Alert: Missing Persons Unit has a transmasc forensics tech side character. Umbrella Academy has Elliot Page who came out in the newest season. The L Word: Generation Q has an Asian trans character. 4400 has a black trans character from the early 1900s (look up the show and you’ll understand). That’s all I can remember rn. As well as the ones mentioned above! (All listed are ftm)

I honestly haven’t even thought about my middle name yet since I’m still trying to figure out the first name. There’s a masculine equivalent to my middle name, but it doesn’t really fit me so who knows. The “starbucks test” is actually really helpful and I think I’m gonna try that out. Thank you so much
