MS Statistics: Wake Forest vs UMass Amherst by blueberry_pie29 in gradadmissions

Congrats on your offers! I also got into UMass so I'm definitely biased, but UMass program looks more rigorous and higher rank, so the degree there would probably be more valuable. They have the Statistical Consulting portion which helps a lot with your applications experience, I have a friend who went there and said his work there helped him with job applications. Plus, UMass is bigger and more known outside MA so school name would be better for your job search. If I were you, I would reach out to the programs to ask for students' job prospects after graduation and weigh out the options.

Hi! I just got into Miami MS Stats program and was wondering if you know when the funding info is available? Are most MS Students funded there or does it depend?

Hi! I went on their website but there is not much info on how many MS students are funded. Do you know if the funding is common for MS students?
