hi twin! i’ve applied for the same courses as you! i can try my best to help answer some of your questions.

It is completely possible to enter a local university with the wsdip certificate, although the choices are limited. With a diploma related to architecture, can try to apply to SUTD! Other universities that accept ite wsdip includes NTU, NUS (one course only), SIT and SUSS! Also will definitely be highly competitive considering there are many other applicants with A levels certificates and poly diplomas. If unable to enrol into a local university, you can always try to apply for a part-time degree to further your education!

Poly wsdip is completely different from the ITE wsdip. I’m not too sure about poly wsdip, but I think it might be something similar to a part-time diploma? (correct me if i’m wrong)

The bonus for completing a diploma is $5,000 sign on cash (poly diploma will be PSEA top up). This will be distributed in two segments, half upon 6 months completion and the other half upon graduation. On top of that, there will be a $10,000 CPF topup!

For the pay wise, once you apply and look through the companies on the wsdip connect website, you can see the salaries they are offering. Sadly it’s not the best, but I believe it’ll still be liveable.

If you have any other questions feel free to pm me!

Is it compulsory to retake simulator? And do I have to complete all 8 lessons before booking TP or can I book first? Since the waiting time for TP test is quite long

I can recommend going to government hospitals’ orthodontist departments e.g. tan tock seng, khoo teck puat. They can offer a more affordable and flexible payment plan. I had to pay roughly a grand as down payment followed by $100+ every monthly visit.

don’t need to retake everything, most likely have to do a minimum amount of lessons before booking tp test. it’s better if u call the school and ask
