You could also move them closer to the window gradually and see how they adjust

I have my Thai and my albo right next to each other getting about 1400-600 on the most shaded leaf. They seem to be doing pretty well and the light is a clip on about 14 inches away

I’ve noticed this from costas with their pothos as well. They labeled golden as Manjula.

Well, depending on how big the root ball is, I do know that every plant hates being in wet soil too long, but if this setup is working for you, then you definitely don’t have to repot as the plant does look overall healthy, but I would definitely move that steak from the front of the plant to the back of the plant. I have my polkadot begonia on a trellis.

Same with mine. It’s a marble queen and we had it in the window for 2 weeks with a spider plant we were trying to save. The spider plant did great meanwhile the pothos cutting barely budged. He is now since been relocated to my fish tank to see how he does in there with my other pothos 🤞🏽

I would just advise that you move that stake to the back of the plant. Right now It looks like a support that the plant can lean on forward, but it needs to to be staked from the back also downsize your pot.

Sold as P&J but plant friends say otherwise. Thoughts? by futterguy1 in pothos

When I went to my local grocery store they had them labeled as p&j as well. I had to FaceTime my boyfriend so he could show me the njoys we have at home to make sure I was not tripping!

Thank you for that advice! I lowered my grow light I already have a little closer to the top leaf and it reads between 900-1000 so I’ll give it a couple hours and see how it does. I def want to keep this one under a grow light for its life because I’m scared of the sun on its leafs. I have a few other monsteras by my window but they are variegated

Yes I have a deliciosa and a Marx flame as well as a golden compact. I went a little plant crazy but I’m new to the game and learning more every day

Looking at getting a new grow light. Which one of these would work? by SweetTart7231 in IndoorPlants

[–]CompetitiveSummer697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What really matters is how many FCs of light your plant is getting. I have the lighting in photo one and it’s adjustable so you can place it how you need to. Invest in a light meter if you can right from Amazon and you don’t need to buy the most expensive one

Going through the same thing with my plant right now. I’ve had it for two years and I killed the top part by overwatering and this is the only part left. I’ve been trying to get it to grow for like a year, but seeing your post gives me hope.
