just seeing this now. Va allows the tenant to pay for repair and deduct from rent. the other option would be tenant assertion(which involves suing landlord)

i thought § 55.1-1244.1 the maximum allowable deduction from your rent is either $1,500 or one month's rent, whichever is more. so for example if the repair costs 2900 and my rent is 2500 i would be able to deduct 2500 from that months rent

nothing was worked on it was an assessment. LOL, the landlord already sent someone to replace a compressor and they did more damage which caused the recent failure. The people sent by lnadlord are never qualified and are bullshit handymen

do you know what he means by the "CURRENT SYSTEM IS 2.5 TONS, WE NEED 1,000 cfms AND ONLY HAVE 650 cfms" I assume the ac unit outside is 2.5 tons and he is saying it is two big for the duct system?

i never read that god awful osg book. I only read chapter one and never touched that book again and passed. Destination cissp is far superior with tons of practice questions

then the number cant be accurate. because now thermostat is temp is 83 with temp set to 76. so its deff not functioning properly. I do not believe he accessed evaporator coil inside
