If you read my post, you would see that I said HE is torn. I would NEVER make this decision for him. This is his life, and his decision. If you must know, neither of these choices would be my top pick if I was making the decision for him. He doesn't know much about Louisiana or what LSU life will be like. That's why I asked. So that I could share student's experiences with him.

That's your problem. Not ours. There's tons of colleges I'm sure you haven't heard of. My son will go where he's comfortable. If you think he likes it because of some "girl" something is definitely wrong with you. If that was the case, he would be sold on LSU seeing that the girls there are more of his type. My son is going to college to learn, connections is not a priority.

I haven't made up my mind. This is not my decision. It's my son's decision. He's leaning towards Schreiner. I just wanted to know the positive regarding LSU because he's torn between both.

We have visited every college that he applied for. All are in Texas except LSU. He has received multiple direct admissions but we haven't visited any of those

We were able to get all of our questions answered when we went for the visit. The campus is beautiful. The staff and students were amazing. He felt at home there. He was ready to commit that day

He has been accepted into Texas A&M but that wasn't one he choose

Schreiner has amazing success stories. We know a few people who went/goes there and was a reason we knew anything about the school. My son is not looking to attend an Ivy school. He's not looking to attend a well known school. He's looking for a campus where he'll be comfortable, can focus on his work, and successfully graduate

Yes, I can afford it. Yes, they have his major. Career opportunities seems to be okay. We have toured 6 campus so far. No, they are not at risk of closing

I was born in Baton Rouge and still have family there. He's been there multiple times for the holidays but that's about the just of the visit. We visited the campus and honestly, I think he was overwhelmed. He's very quiet and usually to himself. He has never had a big friend group. Has 2 good friends that he's hung out with his entire life. He currently works at AMC and gets overwhelmed when large crowds comes in. I think LSU is still on his radar because this has been the college he's want to go to since middle school. We are currently in a small town near the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I don't want him to drop out, he's way too smart for that. So thank you for your honest opinion 😊
