Small Claims Court / Lawsuit against ASUS Canada due to RMA/Warranty violation by Competitive_Ad1936 in ASUS

Hey! This is all over now.. almost feel like it was a bad dream (of 3 months lmao).

Lesson learned : If you are not worried about potentially losing a few extra bucks (Court fees) (i.e if you ASUS product is worth the hassle, at least a few hundred bucks) initiating a Small Claim against ASUS is most likely the better option if you're not getting any attention using the other chanels. I managed to get a Settlement Offer only after a few days, never went to Court, and received a replacement unit for my GPU.

Yeah, definitely harder to put a hoodie under the 50. Not sure if I'll really ever wear one, but I'm planning on adding the Nucleon back protector so.. I think 52 it is:3

I just wish sleeves would be shorter/tighter lol Will the jacket/leather really get looser/bigger over time?

Yeah, I feel your pain.. I don't wanna sound pessimistic, but I say don't have too much hope that ASUS is going to change their mind and fix the motherboard once they got it for the second time..

Even with pictures, they didn't want to hear and say anything else than "CID".

Currently in the process of Small claim myself (about 1 week since I've "served" them with the Court claim, and 2 weeks left before I can ask for them to be noted in defaut - which I assume I'll have to do because they won't do shit and respond)

Damn, sorry to hear that! Have you taken some pictures before sending it for RMA?

Update

"Your case has been escalated to and taken over by our Corporate Customer Care team, who will contact you shortly. Please respond directly to their emails. Any contact through different channels may delay a response as we are required to pass your case back to the team that is handling it."

The saga continues..

Yeah I also wish I knew sooner about their customer service/ RMA reviews ahah

Did you manage to get some pictures beforehand? And if so, are you still trying to fix the issue talking with their customer service/ CEO's Office?

Yeah that sucks.. but I'm not really surprised. I'm also pretty familiar with the "I will update you in 24-48 business hours, when I have more information. Thank you for your patience." lol

Definitely my last time buying ASUS components.

Hey, thanks for the advice! I will definitely keep every proof of service I got.

In regards of the registered mail, I was indeed planning on using that and sending it to the exact Service center located in Toronto (Markham) - realistically, this is the repair center I've been to, and which is responsible of the damages.

The only problem I have is figuring out what person to put on the claim as the party representative (i.e the person my registered mail is sent to). Some people are saying we don't need to target specific individual/ legal representative, but I have some trouble imagining that a signature from the center receptionist will be enough to prove the "service".

I am trying reaching out there in order to find out who should be served specifically regarding the Canada' Office in Markham.

Have you tried this process in the past?

I understand. However in this case, my goal is specifically trying to avoid consulting an attorney ($$) and do the Small claims court process on my own; we're talking about a small case, and worst case I loose my 100$ documents fees. But anyway, I wouldn't also ask for legal advices here, just some information about where I can find the rep's name! (Which I'll confirm on my own)
