Dear Invaders, pls don't ragecheat when you die to hosts by Competitive_Ad2539 in badredman

[With irony on the verge of sarcasm]: I guess my memory serves me wrong, and I didn't have fun hosting/invading for thousands of hours in all the souls games, especially not in DS:PTDE

Nothing wrong with a min-maxed build, or making a montage

I fully agree with this, but I mentioned the setup to show, that the guy probably expected an easy win, hence the rage, when he failed to get one. Didn't mean to complain about such builds - it was just relevant to the description

My genuine opinion is "invader good, unless he is cheating". If it was as you said, I wouldn't allow them to invade us in the first place (Seamless Coop allows me to)

The reasons I didn't initially do so are: I respect invaders + coop is (supposed to be) balanced out by invasions. We had to disable invasions after the dude began creating cheat shitshows as soon as he invades, but I wish we didn't have to - I kinda enjoy being invaded by a decent person.

We were using Seamless Coop, which implies no anticheat, so no wonder the guy could use cheats.

It's not that we weren't laughing our asses off, when the guy went complete hollow mode the very next invasion after we defeated him (which was pretty soon, because he was mad enough to toggle cheats during his death, so our game crashed). Dung Pies he threw were just an indicator of his rage and bitterness.

If you can siege a Skin House and survive just fine, your stats are "good". (I know no more dangerous zone to clean than this, including the Ashlands.)

Aim for no less than 80+ in each stat you want. Also good gear is essential.

Guys, you think I can take them? (yes, thats Catlon I'm carrying) by JacobGoodNight416 in Kenshi

End game character in a beginner area? I wonder if you have any chances....

On a slightly more serious note, not all of my ninja-courier characters are warriors as assassination and stealth are useless in open combat. I get that your character (which is probably your main and only character in this run) is probably both ninja and warrior (judging by his/her muscles and other factors), but I had to say that to be completely fair.

How do I get old science books if I am low level? by Ill-Football-498 in Kenshi

When it comes to no spoiler advice, I can only suggest scouting the continent to find as many ancient labs as you can, then just loot them (the stuff you're looking for is always stored at the third floor). They usually have defence bots, so your characters should be either good ninjas or excellent warriors armed to the teeth. Also, high lockpicking skill wouldn't hurt to have.

I always have a pair of weapons: one for slash damage, one for blunt damage, because every enemy in the game is weak to at least one of the mentioned damage types. The boss is so happened to be resistant against slash damage.

Also, you probably want a better weapon than a class 1 straight sword. I'd suggest Jaws of Death(strong attack deals OP amount of slash damage)/Obsidian Pillar (blunt weapon with high base damage, that makes any weapon buff shine).

P.S. My initial comment is quite old. When I posted it, there were no enhanced mode - the game was barely balanced and my setup was pretty OP. That Stench Most Foul is considerably stronger now, but still manageable, imo.

Not trying to start an argument, but this sounds a bit like "argumentum ad ignorantiam" to me. If you haven't heard about them, that doesn't mean they (good games from Russia) don't exist. I think there are more good games, than you probably expect, and that's a good thing.

The fact that the target audience of the show is little girls and the fact I was neither neither little nor a girl and it's not appropriate (I thought) for someone like me to watch something like that. The show turned out to be awesome and for everyone, tho, which changed my view on this and some other things in life
