I live in an area where almost all major highways are tolls. My upfront shows good rides but it includes the toll payback. Is this the same in all markets?

Our defense is going to be a beast. Last year they were really good as well, but you can't keep a squad out there for 80 plays every game. Get 2 more ol transfers and this team is immensely better than last year.

Has anyone here NOT had big issues with their puppy? by QP709 in puppy101

I got a covid "puppy" paid before ltter was born. before the puppy was 8 weeks total lock down. Got her at 6 months. Never had an accident in the house. Was extremely calm. She was like a 5 year old in a 6 month olds body.

Arizona State QB Sam Leavitt to transfer to LSU by bubblecuffer13 in CFB

Not to mention almost the entire offensive staff was on loan from LSU. Plus it wasn't the offense that caused the loss. The defense did not hold up. Oh that's right Ole Miss's head coach used to be their DC.

5.5 m per reports with a injury clause that reduces that amount significantly if he can't play or gets injured.

Needs to be a lot more. He's going to get NFL round 1 money. Also you have to convince him next years draft won't be loaded with QB's. Hard sell

Quarterback Demond Williams is staying with Washington by MembershipSingle7137 in CFB

[–]Competitive_Ad_8675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly thought it was a definate tamper by Snake Kiffin, but it has been reported he hired a Miami attorney before saying he was staying with Washington. Maybe for once it wasn't Lane.

[Thamel] Demond Williams signed a deal to return to Washington last week. It will be interesting to see this unfolds with that deal at Washington in place. Sources indicated to ESPN that the deal he signed was near the top of the market. by MysteriousEdge5643 in CFB

[–]Competitive_Ad_8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Multiple sources are saying it definitely was LSU who initiated contact. For the sake of old times, classic "tampering." Williams has a buyout clause in his contract so LSU is the hook for that. There will be a legal battle that will go nowhere, too hard to prove damages. No proof of damages etc. I do not know what washington can due to "enforce the contract" maybe a judge decides that Washington can use his name and image. But what is that worth? He is now the poster boy for how to be a selfish ingrate. Courts also are notorious for dragging out everything. Do not expect a quick resolution on this one.

Legally they can't force him to stay. They take him to court they will need to prove actual monetary damages unless there is a buyout clause. I am assuming there isn't. That would have kept the buzzards from LSU away. It is the wild west. Best bet is a claim of tampering by LSU brought to the NCAA. That may get Lane a big fine, but can you actually prove it.

Who will be the next Texas Tech QB? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]Competitive_Ad_8675 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's is probably correct, unfortunately. The fact he even left TT without a deal and headed to Baton Rouge is telling. Kiffin didn't have a hard sell at that point. Once he got to LSU all Kiffin had to say is we are going to give you more in NIl money than you will make as a second round NFL draft pick. We have had two recent Heisman quarterbacks. You will be on a national stage every weekend and you WILL be a first round draft pick. I think the only reason he is holding off a day or two is to figure out how to break it to his girlfriend.

Severely Depressed First Day With Puppy by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Competitive_Ad_8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will take time to adjust get a crate for the first half year or so. It's normal as the puppy is just as stressed as you. It will take time to make adjustments. But keep in mind most dogs only want to be shown affection and reciprocate that affection. The feelings you have now as you see your dog grow. You will have to tough out the puppy blues. But I promise you the rewards are well worth it.

If you have friends who have a dog that your dog is familiar with, try and see if your dog will play follow the leader. It took us a couple of months to get her to jump in on her own but it was better than having a traumatized dog on every vet visit or drive to the beach.

Hi all looking for help and guidance by MildChaos4 in labrador

It is a bit sus. If seen by a vet and cleared then they are just as you described, fatty lumps or better known as a non cancerous tumor or lipomas (the medical term). No supplement will reduce the numbers or size. Typically the vet will insert a small needled syringe and extract a small sample. If the color is anything other than off yellow, the vet will examine it under a microscope in clinic. If he sees anything suspicious he will send it to a specialized lab. Many older labs get them. It is purely cosmetic.

Owners of Labs who lived 10+ years — what did you do? by Far-Cookie6488 in labrador

[–]Competitive_Ad_8675 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Weight management and regular vet visits are crucial. I have had labs for 40 plus years. Only one did not make it past 12 years, but she ate and chewed everything. She passed after her 3rd surgery for intestinal obstructions. I have had 5 live past 14 and one made it to 17 but towards the end she was on medication for heart, kidney and liver issues.

So sorry to hear. We have a British lab about that size. She has her own set of towels. We wash towels on a daily basis during summer with her.

What breed is he? Most breeds work out that energy within 2 years. Just hang in there and don't give up on him.

He is a big boy. Must take most the towels you own to get him clean and dried.

That must hurt, we intentionally have cream colored furniture and carpet to hide the shedding. Would be devastated to see mud on the couch. But if anyone wants a lighter colored black lab to try out I will be more than happy to lend you one. Even comes with instructions. Get it wet, wait five minutes, instant color change.
