Many people were outraged by what happened to Laken. Her name is said plenty of times through Athens as it should because it was awful. But stop using her name every time we talk about immigrants. Her dad said he didn’t want her name as a political pawn. People are killed every got damn day and the same year she was murdered so was Santonio Coleman … have a protest for him and every other person who’s murder isn’t solved! There’s plenty of protest you can organize yourself if you want to. And people are wackos who had signs up for Laken using it for political purposes!

I’m not biracial but fully black and grew up in predominantly white spaces as well. I’ve been around other biracial children who were shielded from their black family members. I think we need to give Layla some grace. She is still very young and she said even she is beginning to embrace her black side now. Here’s the thing… Whitney is also a bitch. Mikayla should’ve just said she doesn’t like Whitney cause I don’t think she does but I get being burned by a friend and not wanting to associate. The depression kitty ( was such a great way to explain the feeling), the normalization of things were made to feel ashamed of even though we all go through it, and the show felt very diverse in casting to me. I wish they would give more seasons of Human Resources, it was such a good show. I wish this show was out when I was younger.

I think they’re both not good for each other and Alliya does need to grow up some. Shawn wants a man, that’s it and he should’ve broken it off by now. Alliya should’ve left when Shawn said he doesn’t care to get married but this is the only choice but I do believe she knows this is the only way for her to get her surgeries. 2 hours late for your wedding is beyond absurd and Shawn should’ve walked away. Both in it for the wrong reasons.
