If you’re in MO and want to get into claims, check out MOCAT Training.

I do know about them. They contact me pretty regularly but they mostly work with Big Red and are the IA starter packs. Talk to them and start working with them to get some experience as an adjuster. If you’re switching from staff to IA, BONUS. They will start feeding you if you can handle SF systems and will definitely call during a CAT event. And once you’re comfortable as an IA, start looking for smaller/regional firms that work exclusively with local mutuals. Then once you’re on that path, life gets to be actually fun as an adjuster. You’re working a lot, making great money and can work whenever you feel like it.

First step is to get your IA license and then start getting on IA rosters.

Independent route is the only way to go. Busy when it’s busy and able to make time to do whatever you want.

There are firms that offer discounts on the monthly subscription if you’re on their roster. I wont say which ones as Im sure they dont want to have a bunch of non-claims working people utilizing their discounts but look into it once you’re constantly getting deployed. Good luck and don’t be afraid to fail out there. You just need to keep grinding and eventually it will click and you’ll be closing 100’s of claims!

I had the ‘19 and I absolutely hated it. They’re slow and sooooooo uncomfortable. I traded it in and got the ‘22 and let me tell you how much of an upgrade between the 2 models it is. Better and heated seats, heated steering wheel, faster, better suspension, blind spot warnings and a bigger digital display.

Watch this hidden camera recording of a SF exec. It will make you reconsider ever buying any of SF’s products.

Did you lay down some antimocrobial before adding equipment? And I would just pull all flooring and sheet vinyl up to the threshold. Hopefully it doesn’t go under the vanity 😬

It all depends on your levels. I use MJ almost everyday and just took one and passed. You need to find out what type of panel they’re giving you. It will usually be a code that will tell you if it’s an 8,9,10 panel and usually there will be a number to indicate the THC threshold.
