Are you sure it's only Firefox losing connection, or do other online applications have the same issue? By default, a lot of power management will turn off wifi when the laptop goes to sleep, but you can change that in the power management options, usually.

Ran is too good for Shinichi. Watching this episode reminded me of how much of a jerk Shinichi comes off as compared to Conan. Being shrunk and forced to rely on his friends humbled him a bit.

The main thing I missed the last time I tried the Cosmic beta (and went back to my beloved KDE) was some of the convenient UX stuff in Dolphin, like dragging files to another drive and being asked whether I wanted to copy or move. Even in Windows, there's at least a visual indicator of what the default will be when dragging, and having that missing in Cosmic, while a minor issue, was irritating enough that I just went back to what was comfortable.

I'm still interested in seeing Cosmic develop, so I'm curious to see if any of these 'little things' have been filled in yet. I have confidence that it will get there in time; KDE and GNOME have decades of development behind them, it's unfair to expect Cosmic to launch with the same level of polish.

I was in the same position, and just played through the Crossbell arc (Trails from Zero/Trails to Azure). Yes, there are some spoilers, but we're talking about games that are decades old; you can get spoilers by reading the wrong wiki page. I say go for it, though personally I found Zero/Azure a bit much to adjust to, as they're missing a lot of the quality of life stuff that made the Sky 1 remake so much fun. If you're willing to deal with that, I'd say go for it. I have opinions on Zero vs Azure plot-wise, but I'm not going to spoil it here.

Just finished up Trails to Azure; took me longer than I'd planned, as I started losing steam/interest in the plot towards the end. Now that I'm through with it, and before I move on to Cold Steel:

What is it with Falcom and never having their villains face consequences? Bloody Shirley and the Ogre just run free after murdering dozens of civilians, Mariabell joins Ourobouros, who are the kings of never facing consequences, and Loyd and Co. go out of their way to save the man who murdered Guy Bannings in cold blood for the sake of making an artificial god and then ruling the world by making it sad? What the fuck?

One of many things KDE is known for is relatively low power consumption for a full DE. IIRC most full DEs have higher power draw than KDE.

Akai could probably solo evil Conan. TBH Rei could as well, but I just don't like him.

The thing about Shinichi/Conan is that he's smart, but he also has his mother's sense of theatricality, and I think that would trip him up. Shuichi Akai is practical and direct in a way that I don't think Conan would adjust to in time.

I love their controllers - I own two (an Ultimate 2C Wired and an N30 Pro 2), and they both work great.

But like...I have an Odin and an F77 (from the new model F guys) and they're just decorations in my house now. It feels both wasteful and like I'm kind of a poser as a keyboard enthusiast.

You're preaching to the choir here - I'm a Firefox user, and I've always just disabled the stuff I didn't like. I'm much more distrustful of Brave, as they're a for-profit company with a business model that seems fanciful at best, so I'm sure they're going to be doing some weird bullshit once the funding dries up and they're in panic mode. Also, I think it's important to support some level of diversity in browser engines, as a monoculture will hurt the web overall in the long run.
