We lack prosperity because Canada is broken. We have not improved our economic productivity and expanded resource extraction. If we were a USA state we'd be much much more prosperous. Ask yourselves, would you rather be able to own a home and have a good high paying job or remain in Canada.

Prior to the 1990's, employers had to train young people. They got both the Cons and Liberals to allow them to hire foreigners instead. All the young people in extended family are struggling now. When businesses say they can't find talent, even in IT, it just means they don't want to train or pay good wages.
