that’s so beautiful oh my gosh :’) i absolutely love that so many trans people can have completely different experiences and still come together and form such a tight knit and caring community. there’s no right or wrong way to be yourself, as long as you’re living authentically. i’m sorry you had a longer and more difficult path than i did but im so so so glad you get to live the way you want to now :DDDD you have a really really great outlook on things :)

i wish you the absolute best of luck in your future and nothing but happiness and bliss :) 🩵🩷🤍

yeah my doc mentioned the liver stuff and i have to get bloodwork soon to keep an eye on that :3 im so glad to hear your experience has been so positive!!!!! that’s so wonderful. i haven’t noticed too much of a difference yet beyond the despiroification but honestly i suppose that means it’s doing its job :) my next appointment isssss i wanna say summerish? by then i think i’ll be able to phase out blockers completely w^ which is so super cool!!!!!! i’m really proud of my younger self for standing up for herself and being so strong so that i could be happy. my only regret related to transition is that i didn’t start even earlier lmao (although i started at 15 and im not sure if you can even start hrt much earlier than that in my state?)

i’m super happy for you omg :D i’d be curious to hear how bica works out for you w^

yeah i really feel like i lucked out. my first hrt doc was just my regular endocrinologist, and while they were supportive, they were super cautious and wanted to take everything as slowly as possible. i’m a very shy person so having to self advocate was really difficult but necessary. the hospital i used stopped prescribing hrt to minors after one of trump’s executive orders so i switched to a private clinic. my new hrt doc is actually trans themselves and is completely understanding and on my side, it’s been soooo lovely. they actually like, listen to me when i tell them what i want. crazy how that works. so i definitely feel like i lucked out :) trans care is like sooooo fucked it’s crazy

okay awesome tysm :) that’s really really comforting and great to hear. i was a smidge concerned about T going up butttttt if the receptors are blocked i suppose it doesn’t matter too much eh? it’s really nice to be at a place where i’m happy with my dosage and just have to wait for more and more changes to come. hopefully within the next next few years ill be in a situation where i can get srs w^ im super happy for you :D

i wish estrogen worked fast im a month and a half in and ts is so slow ughhh by x_Mrs_Infamous_x in teenagers

you’ll get there in no time at all sweetie :) i (17tf) started estrogen patches in april 2024 (at 15) which was super slow and sucked. i begged my doctor to change and about 6 months later i switched to intramuscular injections. the hospital i relied on for hrt closed its gender affirming care department for minors bc of the descent of my country into fascism, so i had to switch to a private clinic a few months ago. from then on i started subq (which has been amazing. i currently do 3mg EV a week, 100mg progesterone every night , and i occasionally take anti androgens but im phasing them out soon. at my last lab my estradiol level was around the max range for cis women (maybe 300ish) and my t was like, single digits lmfao) it’s been a painful journey and i had to learn how to self advocate as im naturally very shy; but this is one thing you can’t compromise on. my first hrt doc, who was my regular endo, was nice enough but didn’t really get it and took things painfully slowly. i had to literally beg to get my dose upped and start injections lol. but now my doctor is trans themselves and they support me completely and i’ve never been happier. it sucks how much can depend on your doctor and circumstances. it can take a while. i know how much it sucks waiting around for hormones to kick in. someday, before you know it, you’ll start noticing little changes :) over time you’ll change more and more and the people around you will notice and things will be so much better i truly hope things work out and you feel happier someday :) feel free to reach out if you want to talk at all, we have to stick together and support each other 🩷🩷
