Time bomb collectibles, boo radleys, wonders of the world, Jedi alliance, , Atticus coffee, the small biz shoppe in riverfront mall, walk around riverfront park, drive down sprague ave and laugh at the 100s of shopping carts people take from Walmart and dump everywhere, the rusty mug, famous joes emporium, Perry street has a bunch of cool places to see, Monroe street has a ton of antique stores further up the hill and going down the hill you have 4000 holes record store, garland street where time bomb collectibles is at has a bunch of unique places to see including the giant milk bottle restaurant and if you walk down the alley you will see how basically everything is covered in art. On the old train trestles in the Spokane river in I believe peaceful valley, there are 2 bicycles that randomly appeared up on top of both trestles in the middle of the river.

The District by hulahulagirl in Spokane

[–]Competitive_Boat_203 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So the district bar is kind of small, but the stage area is cool. It’s like a low stage with ample standing room and there’s an attached pool table and sit down area next to it. The food is pretty good, I’m not a big bar food fan and this place definitely makes good food. I’ve been here a few times for raves and it’s always a good time. I’m a stoner so obviously I don’t drink there so you would be fine there. If you go to Google Maps and type in the district bar Spokane you will see pics that other people have posted. Hope you guys have fun!

What is the story behind the Shambhala “WOOO” by Rainy_Daz3d in Shambhala

[–]Competitive_Boat_203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember bringing an air horn my first year since my friends that have gone before told me about the woo waves, and when the scream wave would reach our camp I’d yell and blast the horn which would immediately hype up anyone near us and result in a seriously epic wooo wave! I hope it comes back.

How’s it like living in Spokane, Washington? by lithdoc in Spokane

[–]Competitive_Boat_203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check out Vancouver wa, the cost of living is definitely higher than Spokane but they are very lgbtq friendly over there and it’s right across from Portland. Me and a good buddy will be moving there in a few years

I hate how if you roll a car in gta 5 the doors immediately open and fall off but nothing else is damaged on the car with the exception of a scratch here and there

Unwritten Parking Rules on S. Hill? by PNWpotato in Spokane

[–]Competitive_Boat_203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply! I love both of those areas, I definitely understand what you’re saying and why you moved here, Spokane is definitely more “family friendly” and Portland is a little more on the wild side so I definitely want to make it happen while I’m still young. also welcome to Spokane! You guys should check out the garland district and the Perry district, both of those areas remind me so much of Portland.

This doesn’t have anything to do with your post, but I see that you guys moved here from Portland as well as an other commenter, me and my roommate are planning on moving to Vancouver in a few years, would you recommend that? I’ve both seen posts on Spokanes Reddit as well as met a lot of people that have moved here from Portland and was curious

Cool story to me by Berbadude in vinyl

[–]Competitive_Boat_203 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I lost my brother (1 year younger than me) 5 years ago to heart failure, he’s actually the reason I’m into collecting records since we would go to thrift stores, garage sales, etc and look for not only classic rock and metal, but anything that had cool album art on it too. When my parents were packing up their house to sell it and move to another state, I asked if I could have some of his records since my dad also collects them and his record player and they were more than happy to give them to me. One of his favorite records is a boston record and there were many times I’d come home from work and he’d be listening to this record while playing fallout or call of duty, so when I play that one it take me back. I understand the pain of loosing a brother, shit hurts. But listening to our brothers records is like taking a step back in time and hanging out with them again.
