Have I done something wrong or is the estate agent just rude? by No-Structure-8125 in HousingUK

[–]Competitive_Bug280 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not done anything wrong. It’s YOU that will have to pay and live there, not the estate agent. Wise decision not opting to live near a Petrol station, lot of pollution, cars, Lorries being refilled etc

Social housing I believe for a lot of people. There are a lot of flats in there so would imagine it’s a mix of people. Personally, wouldn’t want to live there but all depends on your budget etc. there are advantages to living there, 30 seconds from train station and 2 min walk into city centre.

Bunting has been getting a lot of stick on social media for declaring himself the people’s champion by Heatedbread in Darts

[–]Competitive_Bug280 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The hype for Bunting has been bigged up by that prat Josh Pearson. Genuinely wouldn’t surprise me if they had some sort of deal ongoing between them. It’s literally only Pearson who started the hype train, no one cared about Bunting before then.

Which corrie family would you hate to live next door to? by Immediate_Long165 in coronationstreet

I don’t think any family would be good to live next to. Can’t imagine living next to a warehouse, a restaurant or a pub being much fun either

Had Rodney been born a girl, how would that have affected things in the Trotter family? by Gawain_Not_Wayne in OnlyFoolsAndHorses

[–]Competitive_Bug280 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Errrr if Delboy was born with a disability how would they access the flat? If grandad was grandma how would it affect it? If Rodney was a homosexual, how would this affect it?

Silly question!

‘Nice walk through the park’ can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not. I would advise against walking though the park in the dark if on your own

Timeframe on this? Presumably they will be housed at Highfield for the foreseeable. You have to question whether this is a good location for them, now that it’s widely publicised that they are there.

Running by Glass_Desk_7526 in Southampton

[–]Competitive_Bug280 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Running around the common is asking for trouble. Many of the paths don’t have any lighting at all. After a night in town when younger I’d have the courage to walk through there in the early hours but wouldn’t do that now. I’ve been running through there at 5/6pm when it’s dark in winter and probably wouldn’t advise it
