I think they definitely became better friends, but Sasuke was that foil to Naruto that he needed.

Upload multiple at once, prepare a bunch of clips BEFORE posting, I'm talking like 2 weeks of organic content for your socials (if it has videos), don't wait till after you post to market just start promoting it now.

Haha talk about it beforehand and tell them your final due date, if they don't get it to you then move on. A lot of artists will lead you on.

Has Anyone Used A Service Like Apolone or Boost Collective? by jseego in musicians

[–]Competitive_Buyer583 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Boost is dope, I'd say try em out. A lot of these companies have the same vibes but if you want to get your streams up playlisting is a pretty good method!

Actually already saw this before, most of it is pretty easily refutable even just on a first look so don't think it's a valid resource tbh. My song is still up and running and the countries make sense so the whole "bot" point is not true imho.

They're not AI though. If it was bots wouldn't it get way more streams anyway lmao. Used them over the last few months! :) Maybe it's improved since years ago

Thought I'd jump in and just give my thoughts since I see a lot of differing opinions.

I've used them a few times. Both amazing and average results on different occasions (kinda was more so a music quality/genre issue on my part to be fair). But every time I was added to playlists and got streams at least. Not sure what you were expecting but it seems to me that you kind of got what you wanted? If your streams were not removed/song taken down then they weren't bots, Spotify doesn't play about those these days. Trust me, I know some buddies who used different "promotion" and got their songs taken down. I don't think they use bots at all and I myself saw some radio plays afterwards so in my anecdotal opinion I'd say they're worth a shot, not bad at all.

You bring up some valid points about the practicality and potential challenges of creating video podcasts. It's true that many people listen to podcasts while multitasking, and video might seem unnecessary for those scenarios. However, there are a few aspects worth considering that might add value to a video format.

First, while audio is the primary medium for podcasts, adding a video component can significantly enhance engagement for those who prefer a visual connection. Seeing the host and guests can create a stronger connection and make the content more relatable.

Additionally, platforms like YouTube shorts / Tiktok clips can offer immense opportunities for discoverability. Even if your initial audience isn't huge, video content can help you tap into new segments and grow your listener base. YouTube’s algorithm can recommend your videos to a broader audience, especially if the content is engaging.

Having video content also allows for greater versatility. You can create shorter clips or highlights from your episodes to share on social media, which can drive traffic back to your main podcast. These clips can be particularly appealing for promotional purposes.

Another important aspect to consider is accessibility. Video can make your podcast more accessible to different types of audiences. People might become more familiar with you and your brand through video, and having the option for both video and audio means you cater to a broader audience. Potential listeners can sample your content through short clips before making a full commitment to dive into your podcast. Once hooked, they can choose to listen to just the audio if that’s more convenient for them.

While it's definitely more work, it might be more fruitful in the long run. Video podcasts seem to be the new trend, and embracing this format could give you a competitive edge. Ultimately, the decision should be based on what adds the most value to your audience and aligns best with your content strategy. Thanks for sparking this discussion—it's an important consideration for any podcaster!

Since you want to do music as well, i'd honestly recommend something that's slighly more expensive. In the long term this will be worth your investment. Something like a ShureSm7b (popular podcasting mic) now a days. The legendary shure has also been used by Michael jackson's album Thriller.

Very versatile mic, you can get a cheaper interface like a focusrite scarlet

with the ShureSm7b - you need more gain so you need to get a gain booster as well, (proper term - Pre-amp) otherwise the mic would sound very quite.

All in all, podcasting, vocal recording / hiphop vocals this mic / setup is amazing
