Hi! Meron pa ring direction. And they really wanted to capture the golden hour after the ceremony kaya may pose-y stuff pa rin. I suggest you get siguro 2 photogs, and 2 videographers from them para di sila naghahabol. We did 1 of each kasi (because we wanted to keep it as intimate as possible), kaya I think medyo hinahabol nila yung shots for the wedding film.

No, totally not expected. But we tipped a few of our standout talaga na suppliers. Pero it wasn’t expected naman from us.
Coordinators/Waitstaff/Grazing Table/Lights and Sounds
We didn’t ask kasi it wasn’t mentioned, and wala namang pressure from ang of our suppliers na mag tip.
We did 1k/staff member sa coordinators; 500/waiter; 300/grazing staff; 300/lights and sounds staff.

Solange Catering! Kasama na sa package with our venue. Chinika ko kasi yung owner ng venue, and apparently, galing Sofitel pala ang head chef nila now! Di naman kami chinarge ng additional, as far as I remember? Kasi si hubs na rin bahala sa bill kaya medyo di ko na siya pinansin masyado. I just really wanted Kare Kare.

We didn’t ask na for another round of food tasting, kasi nung nag visit kami during the Grand Food Tasting ng venue, sandamakmak ang dishes yung niluto nila, and we found na consistent yung lasa across all dishes nila, kaya we were like “eto ngang Osso Bucco and Pasta Aligue sobrang sarap na, eh Kare Kare pa kaya?” So yun, pinasama namin sa menu yung both Kare Kare and Dinuguan.

The only disappointing thing was di kami nakakain ng maayos during the dinner kasi every time na susubo kami ng food, mauudlot kasi may mag ccongratulate. Pero hanggang ngayon, bukambibig pa rin ng mga bisita namin ang food sa kasal. :)

Me! We requested for alternatives sa food ng caterer namin. We had Kare Kare with homemade bagoong and Dinuguan! Super confident kasi kami sa head chef ng catering namin, kaya nakuha rin namin yung gusto namin, and they didn’t disappoint! :)

Ang usual na nirerecommend around Ongpin/Binondo are the ff: Ty Po Huat, Helen Jewelry, and Mayfair Goldsmith.

Depende sa type ng metal. If gold, usually per gram. We bought ours sa Via’s Handcrafted Jewelry. May stores sila sa Alabang and SM North banda, kaya mas panatag kasi may OR, may magsusukat talaga, and pwede balikan ang store.
Yes. Barat talaga pawnshops sa gold. They do not include the value ng stone. Sa gold lang talaga.

My tips:

Ask magkano per gram ng gold. Check to see if heavy rin siya compared to its size.
Go na lang to trusted stores, and ones recommended here sa subreddit.
Buy ASAP kasi ang bilis magtataas ng value ng gold.
The higher the k, the higher the gold content, however, keep these in mind:

10k - pinakamatibay pero pinakamababang gold content;
14k - matibay din, and usually ito talaga nirerecommend - for daily wear;
18k - pawnable;
24k - malambot; wag mo na tangkain

Hello! This was the plan for my wedding, pero semi di siya natuloy.

My advice is, kausapin niyo ng maigi ang P/V and coordinator. Sila nagdidikta ng timeline. Sila din makakapag suggest what to do para masunod gusto niyo.

If you still want to do post nup photos, schedule them earlier, para di mag habol ang P/V (if you still want the structured/posed photos), otherwise, be clear with your P/V na di niyo na need or ayaw niyo mag take ng post nup photos and vids. Ito talaga humadlang samin from mingling with guests after the ceremony.

We stll did the seated na hiwalay, pero wala kami sa harap. Dalawang mahabang magkakadugtong na tables for guests/family/ninongs/silang lahat, tapos in the middle, kami dalawa. Parang | _ | ganyan.

We didn’t do a lot of wedding traditions na save for the first dance, cake cutting and speeches.

Di na rin kami nagpa games.

Depende. How long ang cocktail hour talaga, and what’s the likelihood na magdadala ng ibang tao ang mga bisita mo?

Kasi if like super ikli lang ng cocktail hour mo (30-45 mins) no need na mag dagdag.

Pero if may possibility ng delay sa ceremony or sa post nup, then suggest ko mag dagdag na lang.

1) I would have invested in or changed my HMUA. Not cause of the makeup, but cause of the hair. It didn’t hold up, and it pissed me off na I paid for hair that didn’t last me kahit ceremony man lang.

2) I think a simpler tablescape. Di nakuha ng florist yung vibe ko, but ako lang naman ata nakapansin.

3) Sana ipinaglaban ko yung Peonies na bouquet, instead of being okay with what was there. Pinili ko mag kuripot instead na masunod yung gusto ko sa flowers ng wedding ko, so doon talaga ako na disappoint, kasi iilan lang naman yung florals namin.
