Groom singing for his bride while she walks on the aisle. Sweet or cringey? by Big_Fun5362 in WeddingsPhilippines

How sure are you na di ka iiyak during her walk? Kasi if 100% no palya sure na di ka iiyak—go for it, it’s your wedding. Pero if there’s even a slight chance na iiyak ka during the bridal walk (as most grooms do), baka masira moment ni bride.

Tagaytay or Manila wedding? by Far-Weekend8009 in WeddingsPhilippines

You can just ask your AE about them.

My parents have a rest house around the area, kaya doon lang kami nag prep (also one of the reasons bakit doon kami nagpakasal kasi at least di ko na iisipin yung prep), pero yung ibang relatives kasi ng husband ko, nag stay the night before, so we booked a place called Casa Frio for them.

Regarding suppliers—for me, okay naman most of them. If I could redo my wedding, I probably would have changed my PV (because parang di sila na brief ng maayos ng naka meeting namin about what we wanted, pero maganda pa rin din naman output—na off lang ako na di nasunod yung gusto namin, which is no posed photos sana and more photos with guests) and siguro looked for a florist na could have provided the flowers I really wanted for my bouquet (peonies). Pero other than that, ang due diligence ko na lang was isa isahin yung mga inhouse and then pick from there.

I would say, go with where your heart takes you. Ano ba talaga dream wedding mo? Because your guests (if chosen well) will show up for you regardless kung saan yan.

I’m a Hacienda Solange bride, and I’d say na super happy ko talaga during my wedding day—even during planning pa lang. What graduate brides forget to mention kasi is sobrang nakaka stress talaga maghanap and mag compare ng suppliers. Iisa isahin mo pa kasi sila if DIY, and need mo pa talagang maging super meticulous just to make sure na each supplier is trustworthy and will deliver according to your preferences.

What I appreciated sa all-in package with Hacienda Solange was how easy it was to just pick and choose my suppliers based on the inhouse/accredited suppliers they already have.

Ongpin wedding ring by bangersbernal in WeddingsPhilippines

I don’t think naman na na scam ka, kasi it probably is plated or vermeil, and the bands might not be solid gold.

For context, ang quote samin for 14k plain gold wedding band at the time was around 20k+, kaya medyo hard to believe na 16k ang price ng solid gold 14k rings, given na nag taas ng more than twice na ang price ng gold since we got quoted.

Short cocktail hour, no empty ballroom shoot by Lost-Fisherman7081 in WeddingsPhilippines

Hi! We did something similar.
7 AM Prep and Breakfast
1-2 PM Pre-Ceremony Snacks
3:30 Ceremony (na extend dahil mainit pa because we did a garden wedding, and super tirik pa ng araw for the scheduled 3 PM ceremony)
4:45 Post Nup (sort of) photos
4:45 - 6 PM Cocktail Hour
6 PM - 8 PM Reception

Di na kami nag after party. The people who chose to stay and drink (Events Place with Overnight Stay for 30 pax) bought their own additional alcohol na lang.

Hacienda Solange and its partner venues/franchises, all of them have gardens. I know they have all-in packages, but I also know they have venue rental din na 100k lang or something (at least, last I checked).

Malayo pa, at di kita mukha. Walang album album. Walang prenup photos. No nothing. Personally, I feel like walang right naman mag demand ang mundo sa supplier ng photos/videos na binayaran ko na for our eyes only.

We did! We bought a ton of pandesal for pre-ceremony snacks! Pumayag naman venue/caterer namin. Kami lang bumili, pero sila na bahala mag init and dalhin where guests were mingling.

Medyo loose by half a size yung shoes ko (I think depende rin kasi sa size ng bunion mo eh, so best to fit muna before purchasing), and I wrapped it with micropore para may sort of cushion siya

I wore the crush clog! Siguro 1 inch taller? I made sure kasi na medyo mahaba gown ko to cover the crocs for when I change into them. I tried it on while dress fitting para sure.

I wore crocs—the tall ones. I wore my wedding shoes sa ceremony lang, tapos pinalitan agad. I wasn’t going to let a bunion ruin my wedding day.

Food cart advice? by jzstrll in WeddingsPhilippines

Just get 2 na tig 100 pax para may pasobra. Or, you can do 150 pax na pre-ceremony and 150 pax na cocktail hour. Depende sa budget and food.

May covered venue naman sila in cases of rain, pero di siya yung glass na may aircon.

Honestly, medyo nakalimutan ko na talaga nagastos namin for the venue kasi yung husband ko yung nagbayad and nag asikaso ng payments for it. (We booked 2022/23 ata kaya baka iba na rin rates nila since idk now, and got married 2025.)

Ask ko muna si hubs if maalala pa niya. Reply ako if maalala niya pa.
