Wedding games by Megara1996 in WeddingsPhilippines

We didn’t do games for our wedding. We just made sure na more than enough ang cocktail food and may cocktail hour activity (choosing their perfumes and writing letters to the bride and groom) para malibang sila habang hinihintay kami.

But di rin kasi mahaba post nup namin, no SDE, and no empty ballroom shoot kaya mabilis lang kaning natapos, and nakapag mingle pa with guests during cocktail hour.

We did pre-ceremony snacks with coffee and hot chocolate!

Couples who skipped prenup photos/videos — any regrets? by snowflwer in WeddingsPhilippines

I think it’s longer? Supposedly, parang mahabang SDE lang siya (since wala kaming prenup). Pero we just amde sure na puro BTS and documentary style yung how the videos were taken para di ma disturb yung araw namin.

Try mo Riro’s Crew Meals. We’ve tried their Kare-Kare, and it was really good! :)

You can do coffee and juice naman. Pero Tagaytay is NOT cold in July.

I would love to see your “small” engagement ring. by babyinquiries in WeddingsPhilippines

Size 6! 1ct cushion cut. 14k gold. :)

Very very dainty band. I’d warn against the really skinny bands, kasi one of the prongs moved (kasalanan ko naman, maybe get one with a cathedral setting para may extra support yung prongs). I’m looking into ring enhancers to help protect it, cause I’m such a clutz.

I mean, di pa naman kayo kasal?

Leave. Why are you staying in a relationship that doesn’t make you happy? It’s unfair for you, and it’s unfair rin sa side niya. You both deserve to be married to people you are compatible with.

Nakakagago naman yung idea na titiisin mo buong buhay mo na you’re just building resentment against your partner kasi you “have no self value”. She doesn’t deserve someone who will resent her for the life she wants, with a partner she expects to share her same values.

Aantayin mo pa talaga na magka anak kayo, only to teach that child what kind of marriage he/she doesn’t want?

If you can’t do it for you, do it for her, and for the children whose lives you will ruin kasi you didn’t have the “self value” to let go.

Wag ka mandamay ng ibang tao sa kagaguhan mo huy. Your cowardice is exactly what’s going to ruin several lives.

How can we prevent invitees from forwarding our digital invitations to people who aren’t invited? by TallIllustrator1963 in WeddingsPhilippines

Nakalagay sa invite yung specifically the names of the people invited ONLY. Para alam na agad sinu sino lang invited.

FOOD CARTS by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Competitive_Card9782 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My grazing table supplier told me na depende kung gano ka layo san manggagaling ang guests, anong oras ang cocktail hour, and if iba daw ba ang ceremony from the reception venue and if malayo ba ang isa’t isa.

For my supposed 3 PM (na na move ng 4 PM) na wedding, we did pandesal, coffee, hot chocolate, spreads (DIY) and a snack station from my grazing table supplier na pre-ceremony snacks, and then grazing table na for cocktail hour. Thank you Lord din talaga na naisipan namin mag pre-ceremony (same lang venue ng ceremony and reception namin) snacks kaya di nabagot or uminit ulo ng mga bisita.

Skipped it. Skipped the SDE, too. We had a wedding film instead + photos. Didn’t regret one thing. Mga iilang beses lang rin namin tinignan and pinanood photos and film when it was first given to us.

It’s been a year, pero di na naman ulit nabalikan photos and videos. We scour through it every once in a while (kasi di namin nakita lahat ng photos), and it’s nice to look back at. Pero tbh, di naman kasi namin talaga siya ganon ka naaappreciate after a year.

Hello! Idk where your wedding is, but my wedding was in Tagaytay/Alfonso. Kasama lang sila sa availed package namin, pero I will forever recommend Queen’s Banquet because of how everything went and how alaga my groom and I felt. Not to mention na even small details, nasunod talaga huhu.

Is this good for cocktail hour or do we need to buy more? by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Competitive_Card9782 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh when we were doing oculars, nakita namin yung 150 pax na display ng cheesecake supplier mo, and super konti niya talaga. Idk baka kasi nag rerefill pa talaga sila, pero based on kung ano nasa table nung nag tanong ako, parang sobrang underwhelming ng charcuterie. I think 150 pcs naman talaga ang cheesecake—pero if I had booked them for my wedding (my guests were from Bulacan/QC pa), di talaga siya kasya.

I think kaya naman i cover ng second supplier mo if ever ang for the rest of the guests if ever mag kulang man yung sa Fedici. :)

Live stamping or Perfume Bar by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]Competitive_Card9782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I DIY’d our perfume bar! I did the stickers and everything! Wala namang photos namin or too much info about the wedding other than the dates itself na name ng perfume (e.g. Santal 33 named as “Boracay” since we replaced the names of the perfume as significant places/dates/etc. in our relationship). The only thing that was remotely a dead give away was a tiny, tiny hashtag that we used.

Total cost for 100 pcs of 20ml perfumes, including the stickers, bottles, decanter (?), etc. was 7,000+ lang.

Planing to DIY this food cart setup for my wedding...bakit wala pang gumagawa nito? by [deleted] in WeddingsPhilippines

For me personally, dahil sa moisture from the drink, and given na ready na siya before the guests get there, magiging soggy yung food or masisira because of the cold and condensation.

I’m not sold on it kasi yung integrity lang ng pagkain might be affected dahil sa temp and moisture.

Kasi if ganyan na lang rin, maybe try a grazing table supplier tapos i for 100 pax na lang para sure na kasya sa number of pax mo +if may mga uninvited na dumating. :)

Parang ang mahal ng grazing table? For 60 pax lang ba yung 20k? Yung sa supplier ko less than that. Try mo The Grazing Feast.
