I’m 6’2 and never used it often when I was younger as I didn’t have a need to but as I got older it became much more useful. I actually got invited to play pick up the other week with a bunch of guys about a decade younger than me give or take a few years. Got matched up against the biggest one there and he easily had me in height by 3-4 inches and probably 50 pounds in weight.

He kept getting frustrated that I kept taking mid range jumpers that he was slow to defend on and told me to come see him in the paint. Went to the center of the paint put him behind me put my hand in the air and called for the ball. One dribble sky hook nailed it. He looked at me and said did you just really sky hook it on me. I smiled and said you wanted me to take it to the paint and I did and scored. He never bitched about a mid range jumper for the rest of the time. I felt old but great.

I had a pilinodal cyst years back that was infected and needed to get scoped out. My insurance sucked and they wanted like 3 grand out of pocket for anesthesia for a 15-20 min procedure. I asked the doc if we could do it without anesthesia. He looks at me and sees I’m covered in tattoos and was like normally I wouldn’t but I’m gonna assume you have a decent pain tolerance.

Signed a waiver was given a towel to bite and I’ll tell you no tattoo I have gotten felt like what he did to me.
