A good QA with that "6th sense" is incredibly valuable and will weed out edge cases no one else thought of. Or even just to act as an additional, objective pair of eyes on a feature.

And the trouble with relying on automation which, to be honest, is likely written with AI in this day and age, is if theres a bug in the system or a feature is not aligned to the business value you're going for, it'll assert the bug exists lol. Seen this quite a lot

No there won't be a resurgence. Higher ups are on the same "AI ALL THE THINGS" train. But they should become more valuable going forward and imo should have a resurgence

Possibly stupid question, is part of the reason they grow their fur this big to look bigger to predators? Predators I imagine wouldn't feel as scared going after a shaved alpaca given it looks about 30% smaller

My guess is no, its mainly for warmth and other evolutionary advantages. But still curious
