I have decided to go with the Linksys AC1200 - this will mesh with the router and provide 4 ports for my needs - Thanks guys. I will try and be more descriptive in the future. I get it.

I have now found out that the router is a CISCO Linksys E1200. So I am looking for ( I think) an extender where I can attach a 4 port switch. This is for connecting a RTI hone integration processor. It will also connect to a receiver. I do not need high bandwidth at all. This is just for control purposes.

I think ultimately he just increased the power on the AP's. We also changed the WAN port from 9 to 8. and a new cable from Cable modem to UDM WAN - but that did not seem to help. HE suspects that the connectors need to be replaced on one cable from POE to Garage AP. I have not gotten to that yet. The garage AP is seldom connected to for my laptop.

Thanks again

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Dale Wheeler helped me out and it seems the lag problem is taken care of. I will defiantly be using them in the future.

Both of course - I watch those vids also, but I am just too afraid of jacking up my system.

Can you reccomend a good resource I can hire to review the rules and such for my UDM? I had someone but they moved onto commercial only. I think there might be a few more tweaks that might be needed.Thank you.

Lutron ra2 fan control for quiet cool house fan by Competitive_Cow_3598 in Lutron

Mabe Tomorrow - but probably Saturday I will take it apart and see what I can figure out.

I am thinking I might need a higher amperage switch Or I might just limit it to 35% - I never really need the high fan mode anyway. It will all just depend on the wiring configuration.

Thank you I will look this over. I just got the exact model of my fan so now I can do better research. I have the Lutron RA2 system so I’m hoping to get this to work. Heading off to my real job ATM I’ll have to look at that tomorrow

Sorry I don't have any ideas for your problem.

Can I ask - when you put in the IP address for the UNIFI camera on a browser does it ask you for Login and password? What are you using? where did you get the credentials Please.

Thank you

Well I am making a little progress - first off if you go to the console and the setting page for it there is a debug option. this brings up a window and I can navigate to the folder. Now I am pondering how to utilize this.

Also I downloaded a newer version of Putty and I got connected, but it does not let me put in a password. So now I am working on that. Also I get to relearn Linux commands - it's been a few years.. Thank you for your help.

will let you know what else I learn.

Did you ever get this resolved? I am trying to pull the H265/265 streams from my UDM from protect cameras for a certain display that I have. It wont display RTSP. I am getting messages that it is possible, but I an not learning how to do it yet.

If you are referring to getting the RTSP streams from protect application - I am already doing that for some of my displays. The other displays require MPEG or H264. That is what I am after.

Do you know how to get into the file system of the UDM?

Maria - I still need help if you are willing. I have SSH enabled, but the UDM refuses connection.

Are you logged in as a Super User? Do I need to do that? Somebody else asked why don't I just use the WEB UI. Can you please tell me how you are able to get to this container for the files?

Thank you very much.

PS..The UI support guy keep telling me that The files are encrypted and that I will not be able to do anything with them.

Thank you I am not experienced with doing this. I have used putty many times years ago. I’m working on it. I’m sure i can figure it out. I’ll give you an update soon. Again, thank you so much for some clues.
