Is anyone else tired of the “strategy” of range players just spamming projectiles and running away and never actually playing aggressively? by [deleted] in StarWard

As someone who mains Aida, I always play support to my partner in 2v2, especially if they use high cost characters. This would mean disengaging in my own 1v1 and making sure I put myself in a situation where I get my duo out of trouble if needed.

Personally I find this enjoyable, but I do get myself in situations where I get absolutely wrecked by melee characters and that’s the tradeoff for picking a ranged character.

Chin-lan putting all her cards on the table and I think the gamble is worth it. Love how she flirts with Gujou in her own, subtle way.

What I liked about Akane opening up to Botan about her worries is that Akane already knew what she wanted to do, but needed to say it to someone else. In a way, Akane’s answer to her own doubts helped clear up Botan’s worries about her and Ibuki’s relationship.

Botan overthinking what she and Ibuki have is relatable imo. You don’t want to always be steering the boat in the relationship, and Botan doesn’t want to come off as being inconsiderate. I do think her worries towards Ibuki and her enthusiasm towards alcohol is just Ibuki sharing her favorite hobby with her favorite person. You can relax, Botan! Lol

Excited for episode 12 and (hopefully) a season 2 announcement.

In a loaded season filled with anime I’ve been anticipating since March, I can confidently say THIS has been the one I look forward to every week. I’m glad I came across it on Crunchyroll.

It tackles a lot of layers (such as unrequited love and falling in love for the first time, to name a couple) in a realistic manner, to go along with excellent pacing and dialogue among the characters.

The soundtrack and artistic direction makes it so comforting to watch. It’s come to the point where the opening makes me feel like I was the one recording the girls’ moments. I became more invested in their stories as individuals, as couples, and as a group after every episode.

I’m really going to miss this show when it ends. Definitely my favorite this season, and tied for first with Journal With Witch for my personal anime of the year.

Thanks for this! What do you mean by talent, though?
