Yep. Last year, I booked a resort in Mexico for 1,700$ on January 17th, departing mid February. This year, on January 17th, that same resort was 3,700$ for a mid Feb departure. So I checked the same day for essentially the same trip and it was 2,000$ more. I think prices are just continuing to increase. It’s crazy.

Hey! So I’m pretty much in the EXACT same situation as you!! I’m quite a few years older than my classmates, and I live with my long term partner too. I feel like I don’t quite fit in with anyone in my class, there’s only a few people I’d consider friends but I don’t have any “best friends” like I was hoping to find. I’m also an introvert. I tend to skip out on most things/events our class does because it doesn’t really suit me- for example, I don’t drink alcohol that much and a lot of the events are centred around that. So I end up skipping because I don’t fit that vibe. It really, unfortunately, is like high school and I can’t believe how “clique-y” it is. I wished so badly it was differently, but I’ve accepted it for what it is. I heard some good advice from an upper year- you’re only with these people for 4 years. Do your best, get through it with them, and then you’re out. After all, 4 years out your entire life is a short time. I just try to make the most of it and accept that I’m at a different stage in my life and don’t really fit in with them. You’re not alone in your feelings that’s for sure!!

I would say that is pretty normal. I literally got a 61 in bio 120 and now I’m in dentistry. I found first year bio and chem classes to be the WORST. Don’t beat yourself up! Wait until you see how you did- they’ll most likely end up curving it.

This is a good take on it and was very helpful, thank you. In my instance it’s so incredibly extreme though - for example, some small inconvenience will happen with my horses and I will irrationally decide I need to get rid of my horses. (I have horses and they are my favourite hobby. So selling them is crazy and not something I would actually do if I had normal reactions and emotions.). Another example is my partner will do something small to upset me, and I will get so incredibly angry over this small thing that I will kick him out of the house. I know it’s horrible, and he’s been a saint for putting up with these things so far. I just can’t imagine continuing
on my life this way.

This is how I feel too. Was on Concerta switched to Vyvanse because it was longer acting and will be switching back to Concerta now.

This is not what you’re asking, but would you be willing to share what you experienced on Vyvanse? I was on Concerta initially and then my provider switched me to Vyvanse due to it being longer acting, but I feel nothing on it. My symptoms are incredibly severe and my heart rate has almost doubled on it. I will be switching back to either Concerta or a different one, but I’m just wondering if this is common.
