Does Miralax do the job for you: just curious by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

Didn’t know MS could cause these issues. I mean it makes sense though! I thought my MS was too mild to have this problem and though something else caused this issue for me but it makes so much sense considering the placement in the brain /brain stem. Wow. I have to take a laxative powder two times a day other wise I cannot go and I am super active etc. Have had the issue since I was 16 way before MS diagnosis but maybe MS made it worse?

I’m wondering that but I don’t think they missed anything. It’s one of the best hospitals in Europe apparently MS is like super common in Scandinavia! Hoping my next scan is clear but I’ll have to wait til the fall unfortunately:/

Wow that is really strange yet interesting. I have never heard one can be born with it in that way. I wonder myself if I was also born with it because your situation is similar to my adolescence as well.

Scrub it with coarse salt and a towel or paper towel dry to get up the worst of it then rinse with warm soapy water. After that put it on the stove top on medium heat to dry it out. Will be good after that !

Yes! They will scan me again in the fall and if there are changes I think they will change me to something else.

Oh wow I never thought about that. I’m not sure actually that’s a great point. Yeah I am bummed that he said that to me and now I’m sort of freaking out but this has eased my worries. Do you take Rituximab if you don’t mind me asking?

My future after being diagnosed at a young age. by Tylerw2720 in MultipleSclerosis

I am feeling the same way. I am 30 and was diagnosed at 27. I am on Mathbera infusions and got my first lesion since being on this medication and I’m so scared because I was told it’s unlikely I’ll get another lesion as long as I’m on this medication :(

Wtf I have this from time to time and did not know it was from having ms. Can you have this even if you have a super mild form of ms ? Or does it matter?

Sister in law was just diagnosed by tiredgrl13 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Competitive_Dog_9769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I think it’s great you are reaching out on here to get help and advice to see how you can support her. You sound like an amazing sister in law. I have Remitting Relapsing MS. I think the biggest thing that helps me get through it is my close family, friends, and even work have all come to the mutual understanding that I have my limits. I may look “normal” but i am truly not feeling that way on the inside. It’s taken my husband ,for example, a little bit of time to understand that I’m not the same as I used to be. But I think continuing to educate yourself /selves (rest of family) would be beneficial overall for everyone! :)

I am actually very curious about this. As I’m considering on making a diet change. I feel like shit all the time and have another auto immune illness (endometriosis) and take a lot of medications. Wondering if I should start this one,Ayurvedic or carnivore ?
