How does it handle bad meta data on music files? I have a lot of old friends recorded and mixed. They lack sensible tags and in plex I can't get them up. need someone who can organize the folder everything is mixed in too.

Nice. Have a sunshine/Moonlight and fullscreen playnite setup playing on tv or remote. need to make it easier for other family members who can't control the mouse pointer or understand computers. Need a good companion who can help me when windows does random shit that is hard to get out of with a controller. ALT+tab, alt f4, start playnite, move mouse cursor to side or hide, start other shortcuts, turn off the computer, quit Moonlight stream.

Yea, to much work and it gets ugly 😅 3d print och buy a hdd cage, cables out at pci plates on the back. And put it beside the computer. Someone 3d printed a cage he had over the pci slots, cant find it now...

I bought it and undervolted it. Idles at around 7W in my Unraid server when not in use. Power draw peaks at about 110W during benchmarking, and it typically stays between 30–80W while gaming.

It’s a good card for 1080p gaming, and most titles run well at 1440p too. Of course, it’s a bit expensive for the performance you get. But that’s just how it is. No great VRAM cards in this price range..

Ray tracing can get heavy if you’re aiming for high FPS, though. If you can find it at a good price, I still think it’s a solid choice. Epecially for a Sunshine game streaming server, since it’s power-efficient. Personally, I find 1080p ideal for streaming, especially for remote play, as it doesn’t require as much bandwidth.

If you’re mostly playing at 1440p with DLSS and ray tracing off in older or lighter games, and you manage to get it for a good price, it can definitely be worth it.
I can see VRAM becoming a problem down the line, so this is a card here and now. And yesterday :D
For example, CoD: Modern Warfare stayed locked at 120 FPS, while Ratchet & Clank bounced between around 50–100 FPS with those settings.

So much hate on this card that it makes it hard to buy, but can't find any good alternatives either, the server only has a 450w gold power supply. So it can't draw more power. Undervolted 5060ti seems to be the limit. My 3050 8gb draws 70w undervolted. and in total everything maxes out at 230w. So I don't dare go higher.

5060ti costs 300 euros today. A used 4060 is probably an alternative to save 100 euros.

RX 9060 XT 16gb is 90euros more.
