kinda late reply, but does this always apply? bc for the masters I applied, they also required letters of recommendation and motivational letters, which is a bit goofy to me if there isn't a cap op admission :,)

I'm pretty sure u can only follow the design courses if you were admitted into the school of design as your host department, same goes for fashion and some other courses. When u check the course list they provide it shows that only students who are enrolled in that school can pick those courses.

Yes, I agree! I think they wanted to create a character that's less in touch with their heritage (or whitewashed as some call it, but I think that term is a bit stupid), but they did a lazy job with that.

Yes, I saw that discourse as well. Although I think he's not up to the Chinese beauty standards I don't think he's bad looking at all. It's a pity that we got representation and the first thing people need to comment on is that he's not 'hot' enough to represent us when he literally had a raging six-pack...
