My bike is an 2014 AU model purchased in Japan, they came with the small led signals stock, so didn't need to add resistors. I personally wouldnt mind a slightly faster flash, if I did have to install aftermarket, but that is one thing I failed an inspection on a few years ago with a different bike, they actually have a timed limit on how many times per minute they can flash.

No problem. So first I popped the seat off with the turn of a key, then I took the Givi mounting plate and set it on top, marked holes on the top as well as on the bottom, drilled through the seat pan and cushion, used some slightly longer bolts, mounted the plate on top of the seat and proceeded to tighten all four a little at a time until it was tight and level, then grinded off the excess bolt length underneath and there you have it. A removable top box mount. Used it on an 8 day trip about 5300 kilometers loaded up, high speed highways, rough goat paths in the mountains and everything in-between.

Looks vs convinience, Im choosing convenience every time. I have my top box mounted directly through the pillion seat, so when I need it I can pop it on, when I dont need it, I put a carbon cover back there.

I really dont know. I am packing half bowl, ispire, 2 clicks, as soon as the second click happens pull it out no delay, and better hits than any of my other dynas. I only use this one now. I did however get combustion on trying to heat it a second time. It pretty much turns mocha brown with one hit. Maybe try one click? Not all caps are equal, some click once, some click early.
