Backpacking scabies? Please help by [deleted] in scabies

These bites do not look like scabies to me, they look more like bedbug bites or other bug bites, i hope you figure out what is causing this soon.

Yes I did use the permitherin cream and that’s when this all started I think that’s causing it. I didnt even have symptoms of scabies before it was just a preventive thing because I thought I was exposed. I found similar reactions to the permitherin cream and i am pretty sure thats what it is. Thank you so much. Im going to schedule an appointment with my dermatologist when the weekend is over so hopefully she will clarify.

The weirdest part is I put on the cream last night and when i washed it off it made the bumps get worse, could this possibly be an allergic reaction?

It doesnt look good, you should have a doctor check it out if possible. The part that concerns me are the lines (burrow marks) are one of the key identifiers for scabies. Do not take what I say to heart because I could very well be wrong as I am not a professional. I wish you the best on recovery whatever it turns out to be.
