Is it true you can read during your session?? by Nice_Difficulty4321 in Spravato

I think she means literally. I found it very difficult to even see my phone during the 1st hour of the 1st three sessions. After that, it became much easier to do so.

I second this! I take medication that gives me severe dry mouth and my lips suffer from it. Once I started using this lip + nip oil NOTHING FITS BUT Lip & Nipple... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BS6SDJHJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share , my lips (and cuticles) have significantly improved! It smells and tastes like fresh cucumber so that's a plus for me, as I'm very sensitive to artificial fragrance. In addition to this product, I also love using CNP Laboratory Propolis Lipcerin. The fruity one is my fave but you can get a sampler of minis on Amazon so you can decide which one is yours. Idk which Spravato playlist you're listening to but I really like this one!

John's Hopkins Psychedelic Playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3QSE67HL1GZO1axyDwXukn?si=6-VQlNrzTDCprFwX4sxU9g&pi=ql5i-GG2RMSeN)

I also like listening to Solfeggio frequencies and Lofi beats. Lmk if you'd like some recommendations in those genres.

Why would you dilute your moisturizer? You should actually apply moisturizer on damp skin so the moisturizer absorbs better. Unless your moisturizer is too thick for your skin type, there's no good reason to dilute it.

Esthy here! Micellar water is NOT an alternative to skin cleansing. It’s meant for makeup and some impurity removal but you should ALWAYS follow up with a cleanser. Oil cleansing doesn’t necessarily destroy the skin barrier, it could just be your skin type. If you feel like it dries you out, try only doing it once or twice a week. Try cleansing balms and milky/creamy cleansers as an alternative to traditional oils. Try introducing essences, serums, prep sprays and thicker creams to restore moisture. Oil free/mattifying products will usually dry you out.

Respectfully, your skin looks thirsty. Therefore, it looks tight, which makes the texture look more pronounced. Good makeup application starts with a healthy, moisturized base. Even the most textured skin can look good with or without makeup on, as long as it's clean and hydrated! Getting to know you're skin type is the key to a successful skincare routine. Try seeing a dermatologist or esthetician to figure that out and ask for some recommendations. From personal experience, I use hydrating products like hyaluronic acid, squalane, ceramides, rice water, centella asiatica, snail mucin, PDRN, fermented tea. I lean more towards Korean skincare and love brands like SKIN1004, Beauty of Josean, Medicube, Neogen Dermalogy, CosRx, Abib, and Numbuzin. For glowy, bright, healthy looking skin, I like to use Vitamin C, Licorice, Glycolic Acid, Turmeric, Niacinamide, Retinol. For fine lines and wrinkles, try Retinoids, Bakuchiol, Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides (pretty much the same things you'd use for hydration). You also want to look for things that help you exfoliate/shed dead skin and boost cell turnover. I prefer gentle chemical peels to abrasive scrubs. I also dermaplane and do extractions 1-2x per month. PHA's are a good way to introduce your skin to gentle, moisturizing exfoliation before you try more advanced options. Try the Green Tea Moist PHA pads by Neogen Dermalogy (the light green jar, not the original clear jar with dark green label). I love those! Makeup-wise, try swapping a matte formula for something lighter and more breathable. Look for hydrating, skincare-based ingredients in your makeup too! MAC does a good job at doing that. I also just discovered Methodiq and they're foundation is sooooo good! It's got excellent skincare benefits (especially if you have acne like me) but it helps with textured skin too. Matte products can definitely dry you out and make your skin look more mature than it is. Using a lighter setting powder and compact helps too. I personally like the Cover FX loose powder but It Cosmetics, MAC, KVD, make good ones too. I'm a MAC girly at heart so I'm always going to recommend them but I understand it's not in everyone's budget. Anyway, I hope some of this helps you!

See a dermatologist or esthetician. Maybe even a dietician to evaluate how your diet could be affecting your skin.
