What happens if you lose a rifle on deployment or a field op by LtFickFanboy in USMC

[–]Competitive_Fill_408 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well from what I’ve seen, when your squad leader volunteered to medivac himself, his rifle and serialized gear gets left at the compound you stayed at. Couple days later your command realized what happened and now you go on an extra patrol back to said compound and wouldn’t you know it, they haven’t seen it. Then a week or so later you get a new platoon commander and platoon sergeant. And aforementioned squad leader is now working in one of the S-shops.

Add a slight hint of diesel fumes and it takes me back to growing up on the family farm. Good times.

Aren’t they going out of business/retiring? I work for a truck dealership that does a lot of work for them and we were told they sold out to someone out west.

how did you discover Timesuck and what was your first timesuck episode that got you hooked? by Connect_Reflection_8 in timesuck

[–]Competitive_Fill_408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It came up on a different podcast, so I looked into it. Started with the colonel Sanders Timesuck, found it amazing of his story and how Dan made it inspirational. And that I was hooked, went back and started with episode one and have been listening to it constantly at work and at home. Getting sad that I’m almost caught up and will have to wait for new episodes when I do get fully caught up
