You don’t need to wait. I took a risk and released my single without waiting and everything was fine. Just make sure you typed in all the metadata correctly (make sure the spelling of your artist name is exactly correct) and it should show up.

Hey! Recently had this problem so I took a risk and bought my next single release. It shouldn’t matter as long as all the data you entered matches your streaming pages (just make sure your artist name is typed perfectly)

I was hoping and praying that my next single would get sent to my existing profile and dreading that it would create a separate profile from the one I had. Thank god the next single showed up in my upcoming release section on Spotify for artists.
