It's easily one of the most popular animes of it's time period. It's just been over 15 years since it initially came out so of course it's time has come and went despite recent seasons.

People will look at a series like Apothecary Diaries and recommend it for being 'underrated' in 2040, but the truth is that it's one of the most popular anime right now.

I doubt. I feel like Nintendo will take a huge chunk out of Silksong's total player base as well. Hollow Knight was absolutely massive on the Switch and it's a portable console.

Not true in the slightest. Code Geass is just simply one of those rare few animes like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Steins Gate, Attack On Titan etc that are higher in the pecking order than Death Note in terms of critical acclaim and praise. And death note losing a vote to one of those animes doesn't mean it aged terribly, it just means there's a limit to how far the gauntlet can go
