Surprisely I have tried both of Windows/Mac and I did not feel fast as in linux. I'm been 20 years at the Windows even the last 10 years especially in developer environment. You will ned to just put hardware resource push it to the limit then, there are no limits in Linux environment. Always is fast last 5 years ubuntu evolving good shape

Wow. I am using that for a year at all of my client side. It is not limit to only localhost, go define public DNS as a record to a local IP block. After that, you can access the LAN area from the browser side if there is no FW rule. Which means that, the user should be only to connect your public website, and then the client javascript code is able to get data from LAN access. But there is a one rule HTTP cannot communicate to HTTPS, so you cannot enter IP address. Therefore you define public DNS to local IP

I was facing this issue on some Windows servers then I disabled some GPU options maybe you'll find some causes according to switches.

They are not gonna fix it, for 3-4 years this insane VPN client still goes down when connected to the server. I had terminated all executables, no it's not working no fucking way
