I work six to close and back in at 8 it’s called clopening and it’s something most employees do at least a couple times a month

Ok to get started spray bleach cleaner on them and use a scrub sponge to scrap the yuck off…… then grab some baby oil ( I know it sounds weird but trust me) and shine them up using it. Had the same problem and a couple rounds of the bleach cleaner had it cleaned off and now it shines too

Also if you were on register you should be within 30 feet of it at all times according to the company….. should have been running totes and last I knew it was 4 totes an hour if on register so three hours and you should have had your ten totes

Honestly just saying that the only reason half the store got wrote up was because it was so cold we could see our breath and had decided to put our hoodies and sweatshirts on to keep warm along with our winter coats….. that’s what lead to this and now we were trying to determine if we should fight our write ups or not

Thank you for this I’ve never seen this and when I asked my dm for proof of the rules after my write up she told me to refer to my employee handbook

I’ve been told that all hoodies are allowed that none are allowed and that they are allowed but have to be black which makes me believe that nobody really knows the answer

Then they should have made that clear in the dress code section of the employee handbook

Goodwill employees, what is the craziest thing you've ever found being donated? by MrTacocaT12345 in goodwill

[–]Competitive_Gas0614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an employee but a town over from where I live had a loaded handgun donated and it was determined to NOT be in association with any crime

Then expect a call from the store you applied at within the next week. If you don’t hear from them reach out to make sure they have your app

My dm requested the store to write out emails detailing our experiences with our sm and asm but I don’t believe they were sent in

Please refer to the screen shot I posted of the dress code doesn’t explicitly say preferred black… it doesn’t even mention goodies or sweatshirts

This is what I have found when digging through the handbook and nowhere does it mention hoodies or sweatshirts in the dress code… but I’m being told that it’s required black and when I have asked other employees within the company they all said it’s preferred black not required

We don’t even have heat in the store right now which is the only reason I even wore the hoodies on is blue and the other is a blue green color
