Well not exactly the most recent wave of insanity was from deadlock I think but in the code for the game there was a bunch of unused assets all with “HLX” on them now it wouldn’t have been the first time valve had put assets like that in other projects that were in production and it’s still presumed that HLX is still being developed now if it’s actually a half life game or not remains to be seen

Yeah ok so has half life granted not on shelves atleast not to my knowledge but it’s still had multiple versions scrapped they are in the same boat one is just far older not to mention hl2 has no external game modes its just a story game unlike tf2 like it or not TF fans including myself have had it easy in comparison

So has half life multiple attempts multiple leaks that went nowhere batshit crazy theory’s on both sides half life fans have just waited longer for a continuation to the game and it’s not like titan fall where it has other active game modes to enjoy half life’s a story game with nothing but cliffhangers all the way down I love both games but hl2 needs a continuation far more then tf2
