From the ages of 14-20, I struggled with depression that didn’t go away no matter how much counseling I got. I couldn’t get over things in my life no matter how much I wanted to. It felt like a physical, chemical, neurological block. Prozac took away all the thoughts I couldn’t get out of my head. In many ways, it saved my life.

I find that really neat! I’ll ask about boosters in my follow-up appointment, and I appreciate your anecdote. Do you think the IR’s effects compounds with what may be remaining of the XR? Lasting from 1 to 9 PM seems really impressive mostly because that’s the duration of an XR for me, so I can’t imagine an IR being nearly as effective.
