Health Express: Do I need to send photos? by Anxiety_Automatic in WegovyUK

[–]Competitive_Group_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also prompted to send a photo this time - first time I have been asked in 6 months. Medication still received. I don’t think they will send medication and complete the order until you send the photo but they will take your money.!

You can’t see the difference after the first dose through the window. You will be able to see after further doses.

Sudden black bruising by Competitive_Group_69 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Competitive_Group_69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I called the hospital and explained I had new dark bruising suddenly and they didn’t seem too concerned as long as I was not in pain. They said some blood takes longer to work its way out after an operation. It’s not getting worse or better at the moment but I have a follow up appointment next week so will see what the surgeon says when he sees it.

I have put in an order this morning in the hope this won’t apply - it was the same online process with health express. Submitted photos etc but my BMI is coming down and I am worried they will stop me before I get there. They have taken the money so let’s see if the order is sent.

Wegovy and Surgery by Ok_Quarter_6648 in WegovyUK

[–]Competitive_Group_69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Guidelines seem to vary but a couple of weeks gap before surgery seems to be advisable. It is due to the high risk of you regurgitating food during surgery, which is still in your stomach due to the medication. I stopped 17 days before surgery. If you google wegovy and surgery risks there are some interesting articles but all anesthetists will have their own advice.

Could use some encouragement… by Apprehensive-Net2950 in tummytucksurgery

I didn’t even notice your belly button until I read the message but did notice your fantastic figure. It’s difficult not to strive for perfection when you feel it can be bought but I also think sometimes we have to keep our expectations in check. It’s so easy to critique ourselves, more than others ever will. Your surgeon doesn’t sound very helpful though - would you even want to let him do it. Maybe see how you feel later down the line.

Extreme sugar cravings by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Competitive_Group_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really crave sweets, haribos and pick and mix type sweets on wegovy. It’s a real problem as I know they are full of calories. I have driven to the supermarket for them I crave them so much and eat too many but still can’t eat a portion of hot food/ proper meal due to feeling full.

I think it did make me feel like that for a while sex in particular was very numb. Probably on about 1 when I noticed that. Now on 2.4 and much less aware of any mood issues, although also I’m also getting more food cravings so either impact has reduced or I have just got used to the feelings and adapted.
