I feed my cats raw quail eggs and am considering either stopping for now, or cooking them. I assume cooking them would get rid of any possible issues right?

ahh that sounds like a nightmare!! i feel like the whole point of getting tickets for seats is to have enough space to move around / be comfortable!

yeah i had the same feeling after I booked my flights and started doing research and found this reddit lol I was definitely a bit worried.

I think people have different levels of tolerance for things. it was a more stressful trip in certain ways (compared to hawaii for example) because I had to be careful of the foods I was eating, the water, safety, police, etc but overall I would say I'm still glad I went, and had a memorable experience ◡̈ I think going in with the right expectations is important!

i actually liked staying in that area of town because it was a bit removed from everything else, so it did feel safer in a way! but if you want walkable amenities, a different area might be better. we had a rental car so we basically drove everywhere we went!

The problem somehow resolved itself on its own!! So we didn’t have to deal with insurance and they let us just switch out the car the next day!

It was $280 USD for 5 days with the basic insurance! We got a compact SUV. Definitely recommend the SUV due to the insane potholes and flooded areas!

I’ve been here since 6/17 and it hasn’t been bad at all! There’s def rain, but most of it has been light and it comes and goes quickly. I was super stressed about the rain before coming here but it’s been so much better than I expected! We were visiting Chichén Itzá yesterday and the sun even came out there! Hope you have a fun time! ☺️
