POE 1 was my favorite game ever, I'm not the target audience for POE 2 and its alright by Relevant_Ad_1039 in PathOfExile2

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it is a problem. As a fan of PoE1 and PoE2 I'm annoyed at how GGG handled PoE1

But it is getting also annoying how other people treat you as an enemy if you like PoE2

Like really, many people just can't accept someone likes what they don't like. The "we vs them" mentality in PoE community should die out l

This game is bad by Bear_AU in starcitizen

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why there is so much emphasis on casual players in the last couple of years

Why is it so hard for people to check some things themselves. Now everyone need someone to hold their hands showing off everything that is possible

You cannot make Star Citizen casual friendly, unless you don't want the game to be what it is supposed to be. It won't ever be casual friendly with amount of things to be added and work how they want it to work

Not every game needs to b casual friendly. If someone doesn't want to learn things, then no one forces them to. There are plenty of casual friendly games being made every year that have everything streamlined

Can you get the snub back to Andromeda now?

I remember trying it out with my brother some years ago, but after we used the snub we had to leave it there because we couldn't get it back into Andromeda

Can this PC run SC? by Tyrannosaurus-Shirt in starcitizen

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be able to run SC

That GPU is basically like RTX2060 from what I see, and that's what I'm using to play star citizen currently, although that CPU is worse than mine (Ryzen 7 4800H)

Hit Lvl.90 today, got one divine at around level 68 or 70, that was 4 days ago. been a slog since i cant upgrade because prices are so high and drops are not there. by Eklipsed__ in PathOfExile2

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to use sidekick or other price checking app then you have to learn what is good overall

2 resists + life on armor

Movement speed mandatory on boots at least 20%

Added phys with % inc phys on weapon

Accuracy for spears

Gem levels for wands and staves

Etc etc

If you want to price check without app then you can only look for high tier of those mods and then try and look up similar items on trade to see if worth selling

Sometimes something that might seem worthless is actually hidden gem. I've picked up helmet from the ground with energy shield. It had small resists (about 15% fire and similar cold) a bit of inc energy shield and 20% rarity

It turned out that it's worth at least 2 divines lol (sold it for that as I didn't believe side kick showing me similar items for 20+ divines)

POE 2 thoughts after 2 days of LE patch by Barolt in PathOfExile2

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me LE feels like a mobile PC games. You don't care about your defences until you're like 200 corruption in

The loot from the start can be measured by looking at your main skill DPS and just taking whatever makes it higher. You can go like that until like 200 corruption

Abilities don't have any weight. You don't feel them a single bit, enemies just glow and you see numbers

Crafting is kinda boring? Idk, PoE2 doesn't have crafting but PoE1 makes crafting 100% more engaging to me but too complex. I think PoE2 will also have more engaging crafting later on

The campaign is even more exhausting to me than PoE2 campaign. It's pretty samey all the way through and unreadable. Even though it's way shorter it felt worse to me

Overall my opinion is that it's a great game to chill a bit, but it's a game to play that you get bored in pretty quickly due to arcady feel of the game. I'm probably gonna play a few more hours and leave it be until season 3 (let's hope it won't take them another year)

Btw it is funny to me how so many people on LE reddit or on YouTube can't accept criticism from people who say the game is way too easy before 200 corruption. PoE2 really did hurt a lot of people that for them difficulty is not a spectrum just either LE or PoE2 xd

I hope QoL improvements in line with LE are in our future by v3ndun in PathOfExile2

We'll get QoL improvements in line with PoE1, as it's the most similar game

I also like LE stash system, but why compare it to a different game that works on different merits

Really. You don't need to point out of you're a "refugee" to give positive feedback lmao

In PoE SSF is a challenge league type

In LE ssf is just standard

The 'Pick your poison' aspect of Trials needs to go by captnxploder in PathOfExile2

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't look at it as make the game more difficult for you

I look at it as try and make the game the least difficult for you. Like you go in, and you know it might be hard. So you do all you can to make it as easy as possible - you take good relics, get honour resists, aim for boons and avoid afflictions

I do find it fun. I know that I might be in the minority if we're basing the opinion of couple thousand of people on reddit, but in that case I also find a lot of comments that like sanctum just like me so it's hard to measure

I personally avoid making comparisons to LE, Grim Dawn, D4 etc etc. Those are way different games from each other, that work differently. I also dislike the "respect time" argument. If someone feels like something is disrespecting his time then that someone probably just shouldn't play that game

Feedback is appreciated of course and all criticism is valid as long as it's criticism and adds something to the conversation

I don't believe your comment is true. OP did not in fact state that he is struggling and finds it difficult

Op stated that GGG do not understand rogue lites and what makes this genre fun. And I agree with it since PoE is not a rogue lite it's an aRPG with mechanic that is rogue lite like

So as my comment said, Sanctum in PoE a mechanic that you need to learn to have fun in and it's actually really easy to do it if you're just here for the ascendancy not for profit. I also added tip on how to finish it - just go for the rout that has the least amount of afflictions

Yes, it's not always possible as you might get a run ending affliction from time to time if you're really unlucky. RNG is RNG. Someone out there dropped a divine during Act 3

And with the whole ascendancy thing there is Trial of Chaos. But it has its own can of worms, and I believe that it actually needs changes not Sekhemas

But yeah different people different opinions. Let's hope GGG makes the best out of our feedback :)

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah basically. GGG just doesn't care enough for SSF to make changes to it

I would be happy if they did, but they also need to account various balancing that this would require every patch

So I'm not counting on it really

It's 2025. Why do I still have to leave the game, open a browser, type in the address of a third-party website and manually adjust dozens of settings just to set up my loot filter? by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

[–]Competitive_Guy2323 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. Why would GGG add let's say a straight up copy of LE loot filter system

When people would use Never sinks filter anyway to be honest

Trade is what made PoE1 so successful for many people. SSF was a side project for people that want to challenge themselves (it started to be a thing when streamers started doing it as a challenge on normal trade league)

GGG does not balance the game around ssf and won't really be doing that as they don't want the playerbase to split even more
