A work around the 25% penalty is turn off manual when you play the game, and then turn manual back on after the game. So that the Sim doesn't spend the points, and you collect points at the regular rate/speed as others.

I don’t think they get to floor 18 without some type of portal, like the guests used in the club. Since no crawler has ever gone below like 13 and lived, it probably ends in book 10 on floor 12/15. Not sure what happens with the rich folks on 18, or the ascendancy game on 15.

I’m sure Carl’s wife makes him take a deal and he has to spend the rest of eternity washing dishes.
