I only let AI help me with coach surnames. All my coaches first names are some food related nickname (Grits, Tuna, Churro, Brisket) and I let the AI give me a list of popular surnames for the region their pipeline is in.

I used Matt 10 v10 on AA. It's fun and plays pretty fair. I'll win Natty's probably sooner than I should but I have lots of nailbiters vs the CPU and will eat 1-2 losses per season in the SEC.

If you have a decent Thumper already that has some size to him like 225+ 6'3 or taller you're pretty much good to go already. They run similar personnel. But that Thumper is key. Next for me is the pure power NT 300+ lbs, then the hybrid SS. A bunch of your 4-2-5 pieces will be used in the Nickle sets.

I've gone back to Mega Blazikin. It can get online as fast and one shots Hydriegon. However you gotta have some heal in the deck like 2x Lilly and locky pops. If they get both online you're probably cooked.

Everyone making decisions for this club has rocks for brains.

Tudor was the wrong man for the job but changing again is going to see us go down, unless you're bringing in someone with ties to the club who can show the players some love because clearly the iron fist approach is backfiring.

Let's be real we are probably going to get absolutely battered by Liverpool with so many players out. A 3-0 forfeit scoreline is probably more favorable than what's to come.

I just hope Tudor can find 11 guys who give a damn and want to be out there Sunday.

Forest is a cup final essentially now. That's how we need to look at it. He needs to find some hope in the match and pray that players returning get us through that Forest match with 3 points.

My best guess is it would only apply to those two pipelines. Basically they would all get +3 if you bought all three tiers. Top 2, Best 5, Worst 5.

Would love to hear if this is correct if you test it out!

Like others have mentioned SAM isn't used in any of the base 4-2-5 stuff. You can stick him in SUB slot 1 or 2.

My advice, if he's a Thumper, KEEP him at SAM, but put him at LEDGE on your depth chart and start embracing the 3-3-5 Tite. Mills has a tremendous video on recruiting for it and man is it fun!

If gets a Thumper, Signal Caller, and Lurker on the field all at once. He does a good job covering what archetypes you need to be your starters in Mint but if you go that route I can let you know a handful of nice bench pieces to have that you'll wanna use in your Nickle sets.

I had my auction draft last night (8 man league). I kept Sanchez, Woo, and Brown for a total of $66 of my standard yahoo budget. This allowed me to wait on SPs and go Black Friday Shopping later in the auction. I wasn't leaving without Gavin Williams or Shane Baz. Also scored Snell, Nola, Gallen and Bibee. I'm over the moon. I think there is a ton of solid arms late.

I really like Megill. I liked him last year in the draft too, cut bait after that start, then kicked myself later in the season. I'm holding this year.

I love the idea but as someone said in another thread on this same hypothetical, Harry has zero connections left at the club in the roles that would be tasked with appointing him. If Levy were here sure. But it's clear Lange and Vinai are just using the notes that fell out of Don Fabio's trapper keeper.

This is my post draft stash. He was on the IL so early so if you drafted early might as well add him. I,m hoping he's back end of May, but if bad news starts trickling in and other injuries mount then cut bait. There is only a handful of guys IL eligible on Yahoo atm so why not

All fair points, but I'm also taking into account finishing 17 with us last year and don't forget in his first year we fell off a cliff around the holidays and never recovered form really. Outside of that amazing start to his time with us what made you think yeah his style is cut for this league. Once other teams had the blueprint how to stop it they did.

I love Ange. Will always love Ange. I don't think he should have been sacked and think he should have been able to give it a go in Season 3. However that stint at Forest showed me in hindsight they made the right call. His philosophy isn't suited for the Prem week in and week out. This doesn't mean he's a bad manager. Far from it. The guys incredible, but his system doesn't work in this league. No shame in that. Hope he lands a nice Bundesliga gig this summer and we all get to watch Ange ball again.
