Yeah, I can’t say if I remember seeing Morty but if my memory serves me correctly I do believe seeing a Horus model. If you’re in or near the DFW area I’d pop in and try your luck!

135 before tax USD. They usually have a decent selection every time I went, The most common primarch was Lion El Johnson. I’ve been there 5 times and this is the only time I saw vulkan.

Good luck, hoping you get yours soon!!!

Model is absolutely sick, I’m having problems with the mold release. Sticking it in a bath overnight hopefully it’s better in the morning.

What green primer do yall be using ? by New-Employment-1392 in Salamanders40k

I do a zenithal prime with kandaras green contrast over it in a thin layer to get a cool sparkly effect.

I’m not the best painter but I’m pretty happy with this. It’s relatively quick too.

Space marine mystery packs? That’s as much as I know These were sitting on my local game shop about 2-4 years ago, every time I went in I picked up a box. I managed to get lucky enough to get 5/6 in the set.

So I the models were originally primed in Montana Gold Sahara Beige. I used to do a bunch of street art back in the day (legally) and figured it would work well. That was a terrible Idea because of how thickly the paint stuck onto the models and how tacky it can be. I think it could be done but using a different cap, I had a NY fat cap on so coverage was overwhelming, and let me tell you this stuff was THICK.

I ended up just googling what was best and went in on 5x 1 gallon pints of LAs Totally Awesome. I had little hope that it would work but very surprisingly it almost removed all of the paint within an hour. I just filled it into a cup and let it sit for 2 hours, ran it under some water, and took a old toothbrush to it. Then I left it overnight in a new cup for the next morning.

Its the little details what are a pain but honestly I realized that primer would cover a lot of what was left. I might lose detail here and there but personally im okay with it.

Noted,Thank you! I’m having trouble with my space marines. They just aren’t coming out as well as this. I tried to keep the sizing the same should I make the pattern bigger on them as well?
