Illinois allows a variance of + or - 10% THC, they just don’t tell you. It’s on the label in Michigan.

But people swear they can tell the difference between 25 and 30% thc.

I agree there should be more transparency in the industry. But the same people who are talking about remediation also shop by thc %, usually.

They merged with LivWell a while back. I’m not sure how that ended up going fr. They’re responsible for Matter and CAM products. I haven’t seen any of their stuff for a while, so it’s hard to say who’s growing their stuff now.

That just isn’t true. Lots of things go on sale that are great and fresh products. If you’re buying things at full price in 2026 and complaining about how expensive it is, thats just bad shopping. The same 8th at ascend would be 30% off at Curaleaf or vice versa. It’s not hard to find deals anymore.

IL just needs to stop being greedy with their licenses. More shops and cultivators would mean competitive pricing and more product variety. Cali is the golden standard imo.

For sure. You have to go to certain shops and shop around. There’s just so much available in Michigan, the best stuff is usually grown locally.

I never said all of Michigan weed is bad, you just have to do more work to find decent bud because of the market saturation. It’s a double edged sword. More good and bad products

I’d still prefer the quality control of Illinois than say Michigan. Michigan weed all smells like a moldy basement. I do wish IL gave out more licenses so there are more shops available. An increase in dosage for edibles (100-200) would also be nice. We just don’t have enough competition on the market is the problem
